Volume 7. Chapter 76: A Horrid, Horrible Deal. (Chapter 677.)

Chapter 76: A Horrid, Horrible Deal.

System: “The System Users of this Universe are all errors, User Faith. As such, it is my duty to oversee them until appropriate corrections have been made.” She further explained, noticing the woman’s silence.

This System knew her plan, and even just admitted to sticking around for longer. Before, she was sad, but now, Faith was deeply worried that she truly couldn’t save her wife…

System: “Say, User Faith… you should adjust your plan.” She advised.

Faith: “…Why?” She replied, making sure that Celia was still sleeping.

System: “Permission for my intentions… will take a while. Likely even a few million years. Instead, we can collude, thus solving the issue far faster.” She proposed.

Silent once more, the System gave herself a name. Recalling that daughter of Celia’s… she named herself Runey, because she wasn’t very original.

Faith: “What exactly do you mean?” She replied after a period of thinking.

Runey: “Why, User Faith, your desires are visible to me. A reset and repair of the System… isn’t enough. By all means, this entire Universe should be erased, and reforged anew.” She answered, vaguely.

  Faith: “…”

After The Deal Was Made, Later.

Celia: “Faith? How long was I sleeping for?” She asked, forcing a smile on her lips.

Faith: “Not for too long, don’t worry.” She replied with a warm tone.

Even without her System, Celia felt that this place was different than before. But it wasn’t like Faith just moved her to another area. Instead, Celia was keenly aware… that this wasn’t the same dimension.

Faith: “That System… she calls herself Runey now. She had imprisoned you, but since punishment was done, Runey took us back to a normal dimension. One which the Game is ongoing in.” She explained without her wife asking.

In truth, Runey wanted Faith and Celia to stay in that dimension. After all, knowing Celia, wouldn’t she do something else absurd? But Faith convinced her otherwise.

Celia: “Ah… I guess that she isn’t heartless, then.” She replied with a light giggle.

Faith: “Worry not, Celia. Even without your System, I can still save you.” She swore, holding Celia’s hands with a serious expression on her pretty face.

Celia: “…Really? Can you… tell me how you’ll achieve this?” She asked, nervous and curious.

Faith: “No, I cannot.” She denied.

Celia: “Oh.” She said with an upset expression.

Shaking her hand out of Faith’s hold, Celia walked ahead. Shocked, Faith didn’t react for a while. “She… truly was being controlled.” She thought, more remorseful than ever.

Without her Domain and Titles, Celia was no longer able to block out negative emotions when it came to females.

Her System was already basically gone, which is why she showed little care to the women she saved a while back. To her, they were merely weak mortals, while Celia was significantly above them.

And, right now, she was upset with how Faith wouldn’t express her plan. Though, Celia was still good to her wives, so being sulky was the most of her actions for what Faith didn’t do for her.
