Chapter 99: Ogling Her Status For Too Long...
We all expected it to be absurd, though… Runey did temper our expectations, saying that the Stats wouldn’t be that impressive. When compared to before she overhauled how Stat numbers were calculated, I mean.
Specifically, Runey said that, if any Stat was 1,000,000,000 or over (she could barely keep herself from laughing while saying this), then she would give us all 100 Soul Crystals per person involved in the bet. As Celia just started that currency no more than 80 years ago, just 10 Soul Crystals were quite the fortune, let alone 100 of them…

Everyone, including Celia: “(- _ -)”
There was no shock and awe, just pure… apathy. Despite all her work, making the Stats readable to the average person, doing such complex math that would drive most people insane… so that the numbers made sense… all for Celia to break it.
What even is there to do about this? Celia is now the most powerful being in existence, with no one able to get just 10% close to her power… even if they EXP grind for millions of years. And this is before the absurd woman, my dearest wife, Evolves, likely giving her a major bump to her Stats. Eh, at the very least… this is the only timeline in which Celia gets this powerful. So we can take some sick solace in that.
Celia: “Should I just… not Evolve? There isn’t any reason for me to do so right now, and a need to do so… probably won’t show up for hundreds of millions of years.” She mused with an unsure thinking pose.
Maralia: “In a similar manner, there isn’t a reason for you to not Evolve, Celia. As far as we’re aware, Evolving isn’t dangerous.” She said with a shrug.
Mena: “Not to mention… but we don’t even know if her next Evolution will be the last one. Imagine that she’ll need a hundred million Levels to reach max Level of that Evolution, or one billion… Now that would surely drive us all insane.” She added with a hearty laugh, which was absolutely forced, as Mena was being as deadpan as possible.
Everyone: “…”
Runey, Xena, Runeth, and even Faith all looked into that next Evolution. Regardless of doing so for nearly all these years, no information about it was revealed to them or us. Being left in the dark is a bit scary, but, again… there is no way in hell that we come this far, just for Celia to get caught up in some crazy, unsavable situation.
And, if she does, then Guanyu and I have already set up several countermeasures, including at least 70 different methods of time travel. Celia’s Pure Mana is extremely useful, and we have barely scratched the surface of that type of Magic, you see.
Celia: “Okay, okay… I’ll Evolve now. Hopefully, everything will go…” I cut her words off there.
Vulely: “Stop jokingly setting flags, and start the Evolution process already!” I gently lectured, teleporting to our room, and placing Celia on the bed.
Celia: “So forceful… We should switch up our roles in bed more often, Vulely. Anyway, when I next open my eyes… I will be whatever that Evolution ends up being. Goodnight, love you!” She replied with a cheeky tone, leaning up and giving me a light kiss on my cheek, before then starting her Evolution.
