Chapter 33: Bikers Bar

  Chapter Thirty-Three: Bikers' Bar

Ryan seemed to have thought of something, but for a moment he didn't have a clear concept. When he turned back, the little girl who was previously very lively was tightly biting her lip, staring at the departing car with red eyes, and two streams of tears flowed down her cheeks unknowingly.

The crew of the commercial seemed to be used to all this and was indifferent, as if they had long been accustomed to such scenes. The woman calmed down, her eyes flickered twice, and then slowly walked towards her daughter.

"Lindsay, let's go home!" The woman took her daughter's hand.

"But mom, we don't have a car anymore!" The little girl didn't know when she had wiped away her tears.

"I'll go hail a taxi!" The woman had just said this when she suddenly remembered that her purse had been snatched away by her husband, and now she didn't even have any money to pay for the taxi.

Ryan shook his head, feeling a rare pang of sympathy, and looked at the assistant in the crew, who nodded slightly after showing an inquiring expression.

"Madam, if you don't mind, may I invite you to take a ride in our car?" The assistant invited her very politely.

"This... how can it be good?" The woman was somewhat embarrassed.

"Mom!" The little girl finally spoke up, pointing at Ryan and saying, "It's him who kept NG-ing that made us wait until now. They should send us back, it's only right!"

The black sedan sped away from the filming location, heading towards the address the woman had reported. Fortunately, it was a middle-class district; otherwise, the driver's assistant would not have agreed to go there.

"Hello Mr Jenkins, I'm Deena Rohan." The woman in the passenger seat clearly recognized Ryan.

"Hello, Mrs. Rohan." Ryan greeted politely, but the little girl sitting next to him was not impressed at all. "Hmph, what's so great about a guy who only knows how to NG?"

Ryan could only let out a helpless laugh, after all, he couldn't argue with a little girl.

"Lindsay, you're so rude." The woman turned back with a apologetic smile.

"It's okay." Ryan magnanimously waved his hand.

All the way, Ryan could tell that this Ms. Dina Rohan seemed to want to ask something, but she didn't open her mouth until they got off the bus, and he didn't want to take the initiative, so he pretended not to see it.

What a troublesome family this is; he didn't want to get too entangled with them, even if saving the fallen young woman was quite an entertaining thing.

In the following days, all the shots taken were unrelated to Ryan. He simply returned to school, where his classmates had mostly gotten used to his presence, although they would occasionally ask about some rumors from the entertainment industry. However, under the constraints of being in school, there were very few instances of people gathering around him anymore.

Besides, kids of this age are more interested in youth idols than peers of the same age.

  "Nico, I miss you!"

Nicole Kidman had just walked in the door when Ryan rushed over and wrapped his arms tightly around her, as if he didn't want to let her go for a second.

"Darling, I miss you too." Habitually giving the boy a peck on the forehead, Nicole put down her luggage and simply picked him up and placed him on the sofa. "Ryan, you've gained quite a bit of weight, it won't be long before I can no longer carry you."

"After that, I'll hold you." Ryan's words came out without thinking, and he only realized something was off after saying them. Fortunately, Nicole didn't notice, "Ryan, go get me a box of juice, I'm exhausted."

  "Alright."

As Ryan walked into the kitchen, Nicole furrowed her brow slightly, feeling that Ryan seemed somewhat different from before, but couldn't quite put her finger on what it was. She could sense that his affection for her hadn't diminished in the slightest, but there was something else mixed in with it now.

I guess he's grown up now? He can't stay a kid forever, there will come a day when he'll grow into an adult, and then he'll have his own life, he'll leave on his own...

Nicole Kidman suddenly froze, her eyes flickered a few times, she slapped her forehead hard and silently cursed.

"Nico, are you uncomfortable?" Ryan put the strawberry juice on the coffee table.

"It's nothing, maybe I'm just too tired." She changed the subject quietly, "How's the filming of Terminator 2 going?"

"Never mind, James Cameron is a tyrant on set, I swear, I'll never work on one of his films again," Ryan said, leaning back against Nicole as was his habit. "Under his tongue-lashing, you'd find yourself good for nothing."

"I heard that the investment in the movie has already reached 90 million US dollars?"

"Yes." He nodded vigorously. "This will absolutely not be the end, this film's investment will definitely reach an unprecedented one hundred million dollars."

"Right, Nicole. Shall we go to the filming location together tonight? They're going to film at a bar."

  "Alright..."

The film required a large number of location shots and special effects, which would be filmed in several places including California, Nevada, New Mexico, and even an idle steel mill that James Cameron had rented and renovated for the movie's ending.

Of course, the crew has no plans to leave California yet. Tonight's shoot is the scene where Schwarzenegger bursts into the bikers' bar at the beginning of the movie.

"What...what's going on here?" The woman who burst into the bar looked bewildered.

Life is often stranger than fiction. While filming was in progress, a woman who looked rather seductive suddenly burst into the biker bar, completely ignoring the trucks carrying scenery and the cameras scattered all over the place, thinking it was a real bar.

Especially when she saw Schwarzenegger wearing only shorts, her eyes emitted a green light, leaving no doubt that as soon as the future governor raised his finger, she would pounce on him.

The future governor's response was even more stunning: "We're having a gentlemen's strip night, you're welcome to join, ma'am!"

"You... you're Schwarzenegger, are you guys filming a movie?" The stunning woman finally came to her senses, but instead of hurrying away, she poked Schwarzenegger's robust chest muscles with force and even stuck out her tongue to lick her lips.

Schwarzenegger, though not a good man, had no interest in this kind of flashy woman and hastily retreated two steps, with a defeated look on his face. Two almost-bent-over-with-laughter staff members quickly came over and, with a mix of persuasion and force, escorted the woman out of the bar.

"Wow, Arno, you're really lucky!" Ryan laughed so hard he almost choked.

"Ryan, that's slander!" After his assistant handed him a robe, Schwarzenegger wrapped it around himself and walked over.

"I didn't expect that you, this tough guy, would have such a funny side!" Ryan sat on one side, patting Nico's leg twice.

Schwarzenegger suddenly curled up the corner of his mouth, revealing a slightly sinister smile, which was truly rare.

But this smile gave Ryan a strong sense of déjà vu, and he immediately thought of the real lie in Terminator, Schwarzenegger's smile that slightly shook off his facial paralysis, wasn't it just like this?

  "Wait!"

Ryan held up one finger, "Arno, keep that smile!"

"Mr. Laine, would you mind taking notes?" He looked over at one of James Cameron's assistants.

  "You're welcome."

  "Outdoor/Villa entrance. Time/Night."

The agent nodded to the security guard as he passed by, and when he was about to reach the parking lot's patio, a security guard came running from behind, putting down his walkie-talkie and asking, "Sir, please show me your invitation!"

"The agent didn't turn around, directly pulling out a box from his pocket, a slightly sinister smile spreading across the corner of his mouth. (Note: Arno's smile at the bar.) This is a remote detonator."

"The agent said, this is my invitation, with a casual attitude he pressed the button, boom! A huge fireball exploded!"

"Alright, that's it for now!" Ryan waved his hand.

The crew members who were resting all gathered around, looking at Ryan in surprise, although it was just a fragment, but it seemed to be triggered by Schwarzenegger's smile.

"Ryan, don't tell me you're starting another script." James Cameron walked over.

"It's not a new script, I watched an old French movie some time ago and had some ideas, and Ryan's smile just happened to match the scene I was thinking of." Ryan wasn't talking nonsense, since joining this crew, he has been emulating James Cameron.

"If you don't mind, may I say something?" Cameron flashed a sly smile. "I think everyone present wants to hear the creative ideas of a super genius."

The surrounding area immediately erupted in a chorus of catcalls, prompting Nicole to roll her eyes.

"Alright." Ryan turned to Schwarzenegger, "Arnold rides a horse through the streets of Washington, chasing terrorists, huh... and, yeah, you can launch Maverick missiles from two F/A-18 Hornets, blowing up the Miami bridge. Arnold, are you interested in flying an F/A-18? You can fly the plane through the steel jungle of the city, rescuing your daughter who's been kidnapped by terrorists."

"Wow, sounds like nothing you've done before, like an action movie." Schwarzenegger rubbed his chin, "Looks like I'm going to have to become a one-man army."

"Ano, don't you think the smile you showed me just now is a bit sinister? Maybe with this, those film critics who like to nitpick won't say you're expressionless anymore. I'm saying this and you don't mind, right? Thanks!" Ruien continued, "In my opinion, Stallone is the real expressionless one, you can only count as half."

"Is that so? Well, I'm waiting to see your full script!" Schwarzenegger was apparently interested.

"Jim, and you?" Ryan looked at Cameron.

"It sounds good, but let's talk about it after you've finished the script!"

There are no shots of Ryan here, he yelled at Nicole to come over just to let her out to relax and unwind, and take a look at the scene of Pai's doing, didn't expect to see such a wonderful show, unfortunately, that lady from the Kennedy family is not present, otherwise it would definitely become an 8 o'clock file.
