Mira went to meet Kel because it had been a while since they had last seen each other. As the dragon was playing together with Aura during that time, the trio had a nice chat together. The fox told them a little more about Sophia's overseer powers and how much she still lacked to become one. Aura also learned a little bit about elder dragons, which pleased the wolf with the dragon hunter title a lot, as well as the fact that Nerima, the overseer of nature, would like to meet their chaos tiger.
“Would you look at that? My favorite puma is done with the jaguar family!” Sophia had dropped off Maya and Luca with their parents, and once they had a bit of a chat, she decided to leave them alone to catch up before heading back to the castle. There, she ran into Vivi, who had gotten comfortable in the main guest room.
“Oh, my favorite blonde tiger is back.” Vivi smiled back at her. “Yeah, we had a nice and long chat where we got to know each other, but I wanted to give them some room to catch up without me.”
“I just did the same with Luca. First, I reunited him with his sister before bringing them to their parents, who are also in the capital right now."
“I still can’t believe that we were traveling with their siblings like that.”
“Tell me about it!” The tiger reacted with a firm nod. “How did it go with the jaguars?”
"Pretty good, I think?" She scratched her cheek. "I wasn't prepared to meet Nina's parents today, but Stella and Daria are great, so it was fine. They’re a bit intense, though. Nina had warned me about that before, so it wasn’t that much of a shock. The only surprise was Ari because she’s a lot different from what the older sister had told me when she talked about her family."
“Yes, Ari changed a lot over the last year or so.” Sophia rolled her eyes just thinking about it. “She used to be extremely shy and self-conscious because of her hair, as it was different from all the other jaguars, which made her think others made fun of her."
"Nina told me the same, and I already found it stupid back then, but after seeing her with my own eyes, it’s even more ridiculous.” Vivi shook her head. “Don't get me wrong, I love Nina, and she’s the most attractive person in existence, but I’ve never seen any hair even remotely as beautiful as Ari’s!”
“I’m legally obligated to disagree with Nina being the most attractive person, but I couldn’t agree more with Ari’s hair!” Sophia let out a small chuckle. "I had the same reaction when I first met her and heard about the complex she had about her hair. Anna had tried her best to convince her otherwise, but jaguars are rather stubborn.”
“Oh, I know all about that!” The girl dating a jaguar had a strong reaction to that.
“I somehow managed to convince her, though.” Sophia sounded a little proud. “After all, as the only tiger with blonde hair, my sermon of unique hair being something good wasn’t something she could brush off as meaningless flattery.”
“Good job!” Vivi gave her a thumbs-up. “By the way, I did a questionnaire about you when I was alone and asked everyone I met because I wanted to know more about you.”
“My, I’m taken already, you know?” The tiger reacted with a playful smile.
“So am I, my dear.” She smiled back at her. “I wanted to know more about the ridiculousness that is you.”
“So, what did you learn?”
“Nothing!” The puma sounded a little frustrated. “Whenever I asked someone about how and why you can do the things you showed us earlier, EVERY SINGLE ONE just replied with; ‘You shouldn’t worry about it, that’s just Sophia being Sophia.’!”
“Yup, I very much agree with them~.” The blonde stifled a laugh. “You shouldn’t worry about it.”
"Your powers were way too fascinating for me to not be interested!”
“Luca also got too curious and regretted it dearly.” Sophia scratched her cheek. “I’m not sure if you want to end up like him, too.”
“What did you do to him?!” Vivi didn’t like the sound of that.
“I just told him about some of my powers, where our group wants to travel, and had him meet some friends of mine.” The tiger shrugged. “I do have the habit of breaking the common sense of everything around me, and I didn’t hold back too much with Luca, so I ended up overloading his brain.”
“Yeah, Luca doesn’t do well with that.” The puma saw the issue. “He also loves to explore and go crazy, but ever since our group grew, he has also been trying to keep us from going too insane for some reason. After all, Nathan only is on his prince behavior when he’s in cities, and I just want to have fun all the time~.”
“There really is no doubt that he’s Maya’s brother.” This felt familiar to Sophia. “Maya’s also the one who keeps me from going completely crazy.”
"Contrary to him, I enjoy a good chaos, though." Vivi smiled at her again. “I was surprised earlier because your powers are just that ridiculous, but I can only imagine how much fun you’re having! I’d love to see just how hard you can go!”
“Really now?” The tiger’s expression turned into a smirk. “You probably won’t even last five minutes before I break you.”
“Nina’s the only one who managed to make me not last five minutes." The puma smirked back at her.
“Wow, you and Maya will get along splendidly once you meet her.”
“Alright, hit me!” Vivi energetically clapped her hands while staring at the blonde with sparkling eyes. “Tell me something fun!”
“I’m definitely a fan of your attitude.” Sophia definitely liked her already. “Fine, just don’t tell me I didn’t warn you earlier. Which of the things that I showed Luca do you want to hear about first? The truth about my portals, the places our group wants to visit, or some of my more special friends?”
“What kind of friends do you have that it would break my common sense?!” She raised her voice.
“Do you want to be eased in, or should I get right to the point?”
“Hit me!” She smirked at her. “I like it rough~.”
“I guess the sisters have similar tastes, huh?” Sophia felt reminded of a certain princess.

“Tell me already!”
“One of my best friends, Chloe, is the daughter of Mira, the overseer of magic, whom I call my friend, as well. Another good friend of mine is Kel, a 300-meter-long iridescent water dragon. He’s a very fancy guy.”
“Hah.” Vivi had no idea what to say and only scratched her head.
“If you don’t believe me, I can introduce you to them later.”
“I DEFINITELY want to be introduced to them!” The puma suddenly got loud again. “My older brother used to tease me all the time that he got to see the Mira from afar around 20-something years ago, so I’d give everything to meet her face-to-face! Also, a dragon?! DRAGON?! I've wanted to see one ever since I was four, when I got my first picture book about mythical creatures! People kept telling me they don’t exist around here, but it was my dream to meet one and prove everyone wrong!”
“Okay…” Sophia had not seen this reaction coming. “You’re not surprised I know such individuals?”
“I sure am, but what does it matter?” Vivi tilted her head. “There has to be someone who knows such elusive individuals, and I’m delighted that I got to meet that someone!”
“Wow, you’re great!” The blonde liked her even more.
“I thought you were going to tell me things that would shock me~.” The puma gave her a cheeky thumbs-up.
“That was a great one!”
“Hehe.”
“Right, I kinda forgot that the overseers roam around every now and then.” The tiger could somewhat understand why she was okay with that bit. “In Luca’s defense, I had already broken him when we ran into Mira. I like your reaction to Kel a lot more, though. I’m a big fan of excitable girls~.”
“Who isn’t?”
“Good point.” Sophia was a supporter of her claim. "Well, anyway, Mira is a bit more complicated to get a hold of lately. She comes and goes however and whenever she pleases. Kel, my dragon friend, is available a lot more easily, though. If you’re really that keen to see a dragon, we could do it tomorrow. Today was long enough already, I don’t want to do another extra tour for the prince when telling him.”
“THAT WOULD BE SO AMAZING!” Vivi was really looking forward to it.
“You can fight him if you want, too.” The blonde let out a small chuckle. “He likes to be challenged.”
“Uhh… I-I might have to pass on that.” She suddenly looked a little awkward. “I consider myself on the stronger side, aside from your group that is, but a dragon might be slightly out of my reach.”
“You never know until you try~.” Sophia’s expression turned cheeky. “It’s impossible for you to die in a fight with him, so you can go all out!”
“There are things you know without trying!” She shook her head. “Even Luca, who usually loves to challenge everyone, opted against fighting you, so he wouldn’t fight a dragon, either.”
“I’m a lot stronger than Kel, though.” There was a rather strong mocking undertone in the tiger’s voice. “In fact, he wasn’t even able to scratch me when he attacked me, and I one-punched him into giving up~.”
“You’re stronger than a dragon?!” The puma raised her voice. “One that, according to you, is 300 meters long?”
“Yup!”
“Has anyone ever told you that you’re insane?”
"One or two people, maybe." Sophia scratched her cheek. “Definitely not more than that, though.”
“Really?”
“Really!”
“How does a girl of your size get stronger than a massive dragon?”
“Oi!” The tiger glared at her. “I’m not small!”
“Yes, as a girl, you aren’t.” Vivi definitely did not steal a glance at the blonde's chest while saying so. "Compared to a 300-meter-long dragon, you are, though."
“I guess I can accept that.” She let that explanation slide. “Anyway, size isn’t everything! How you use it is important!”
“Are we talking about the same thing here?” The puma raised an eyebrow in return.
“Sorry, I had to.” Sophia smiled at her. “It was just too stupid to gloss over.”
“Fair enough.” She couldn’t blame her.
“Long story short, my magic is more potent than most others out there for reasons I don’t want to get into detail for at the moment. Like, you can feel that I’m a lot stronger than your regular girl, right?”
“Incomprehensibly so.” Vivi nodded a couple of times. “It’s hard to comprehend that it’s even more than a dragon. Then again, I only heard about dragons, so they might be more bark than bite?”
“Sure~.” For Sophia, Kel definitely had been more bark than bite. “So, do you want to keep going about the dragon, or can I get another attempt at breaking your common sense?”
“New things, please!” Vivi excitedly clapped her hands. “I still want to meet him, but for now… How did you break Luca with your travel route? How can that possibly be bad aside from the part where you literally zoom across the continent?”
“It’s less about the fun ways we travel, and more about the fun destinations we’re going for.”
“Are there any such mindboggling places? Are you going to climb into an active volcano?”
“Ohh, that sounds fun!” Sophia liked the idea. “No, we’re headed for the monster country.”
“I really can’t recommend that.” The puma shook her head a couple of times. “My hometown, just like Luca’s, is near it. I’ve been warned my entire childhood that it’s an extremely dangerous place where death is all but guaranteed. So, once I became a teen, I obviously went to explore it a little bit.”
“Wow, I might have to rethink my suggestion of Nathan travelling his usual way and placing the portals in cities in my stead. It would be way more fun for all of you to travel with us instead!”
“I wouldn’t say no to that!” Vivi smiled back at her. “Though, really, I still can’t recommend the monster country. It’s just a barren wasteland for the most part. No good food, either, and the worst part was the constant ominous feeling in the back of my head that something extremely powerful and scary was watching me. Also, by something, I mean many things. That’s why I didn’t go in too deep in the end.”
“Did that something feel more or less powerful than me?" Sophia stared right at her.
“Hah.” The puma paused for a moment. “It felt a lot more malicious, but… I wouldn’t say anything I felt was stronger than you.”
“See?” The blonde gave her a thumbs-up. “Nothing to worry about, then.”
“It’s still a barren wasteland without good food. Where’s the fun in that?”
"Those are good and important points.” Sophia, a fellow enjoyer of nice places and good food, agreed with her. “We only plan to go through the monster country to reach its coast because that’s the closest to the demon continent, the actual goal of our journey.”
“YOU’RE GOING TO THE DEMON CONTINENT?!” The puma got really loud after hearing that. “Wait, things are starting to make sense now! You’re a demon with stripes, right? That’s why no one gets your common sense, and it also explains why you’re so strong! You’re trying to get home!”
"Seriously, you're going to get along with Maya so well!" The blonde felt reminded of the time when the cat-girl thought she was a demon princess. “I just think it would be cool to go there!”
"That is as good a reason!" Vivi calmed down a notch. “Wait, you do know that the ocean is littered with sea-monsters, right?”
“I mentioned that I’m friends with a 300-meter-long water dragon, right? He’ll come with us when we travel there. Do you think there are bigger and or more dangerous monsters in the ocean?” The tiger shrugged in return.
“Mhm.” The puma tilted her head while going silent for a moment. “You have an answer for everything, don’t you?”
“Sure do~.”
“I really need to think about how I can convince Nina, Luca, and Nathan to go with you! I need to see the demon continent!”
“Hehe.” Sophia was a real fan of her enthusiasm. "Even if not, you'll still be able to use one of my portals to visit once we get there, so don’t worry about it~.”
“Seriously?! That’s so cool! I can’t wait!” Vivi’s excitement rose once again. “Wait, while we’re at it, didn't you say something about telling me the truth of your portals or something like that?"
“Right!” The tiger clapped her hands. “My third chance to break you!”
“Try your worst!” She smirked at her. “So far, it’s not looking good for you~.”
“Heh.” Sophia accepted the challenge. “My portals don’t actually connect to each other as I showed you before, at least not from the get-go. Instead, all of my portals lead to a different world. Yes, a place that is not on this planet. In fact, it is my own different world that I call domain, of which I have complete control over. My magic is so powerful and different that I managed to create a different world. Anna, Ari, I, and all my other friends live in there when we’re not travelling in this world.” She decided to go all out.
“…” Vivi just stared at her with an empty yet shocked expression while blinking a couple of times. “Eh…? C-Come again…?”
Finally having won in breaking the puma-girl in the third round of explanations, Sophia looked the most smug yet and leaned back on the sofa in the visitor room they were in while watching the perplexed girl figure out what she just heard.
