Hey guys, so I uploaded the prologue and first chapter of the Daily Diary of a Mushroom rewrite, called Mushroom Reborn. A double meaning title haha. A link will be in the post chapter notes. I know releasing another update right after the last is probably going to leave a sour taste in your mouth if you weren't interested in the rewrite, which I understand. So I'll say this now, whilst I don't want to get anyones hopes up, if anyone was hoping for me to carry on this version too, I honestly would love to? But currently I'm writing about 1k (500 words for the rewrite 500 words for my secondary fiction) words a night whilst having a full time job and other hobbies, don't get me wrong, I love writing, but I also love video games, warhammer and other such things haha. Currently three chapters ahead of posting and plan to keep it that way!
What I can promise is, the first book of Mushroom Reborn will be finished, where I go from there may depend on if people like it or not, cus honestly? No idea if I can capture the fun of the original, I'm older and have changed quite a bit haha. I am very serious about wanting to get published and if Mushroom Reborn is the book to get me there? Well lets just say after Ellenas story there is one other major character that I have a book planned for and several spin off and prequels in the same setting! Only two of which are planned out, the rest are just concepts that hit me over the past several years.

Sneak peak of one of the planned out ideas which I wrote a test chapter for is- A medieval french Chevalier that wakes up on an island just of the coast of the Central Continent many many years before Ellenas story. It's a kingdom building story with the same litrpg elements as its set in the same world ofc.
Other things to discuss. What was going to be my big flagship story A Pocketful of Shrapnel seems to be a big flop. Never know til you try right? Still gonna write the second book as the first book ends on a cliff hanger, just might take a little while to get around to.
