~Update 5~ A sort of return and some shameless plugging

I dont know if any of my old readers are still around, but, hi, if you are. I know I promised a hundred times that this story would eventually finish and I intended to keep that promise and may still... kind of?

I am three chapters into a third person rewrite of Daily Diary. The story was something I had to leave alone for quite a while due to various personal and familial issues at the time. It was painful to write for a while as it reminded me too much of bad times in my life for quite a few years, but ive recently been feeling a renewed love of writing, which is what the following paragraphs are about.

I never stopped writing, but I was tired of posting first chapters and losing motivation to go beyond. I have dozens of first chapters sitting in my Google docs, but a few years ago I finally decided to force myself into finishing one.

This narrative has been purloined without the author's approval. Report any appearances on Amazon.

The two stories I have written in their entirety are both now on Royalroad and a few other sites and I can now write about 1000+ words a night without two much issue. As I said im on chapter three for my Daily Diary rewrite, which i will start posting when im about halfway through book one. I am also on the third chapter of my Kenshi fanfiction. The other two, the ones ive already posted, id love to get peoples opinions on. They'll be in the post chapter note.

So yeah, I want to apologise a thousand times to fans of Daily Diary of a Mushroom, but I swear it never died in my heart, just went into hibernation. In fact since I couldn't bring myself to write the story itself I wrote a few chapters for multiple stories in the same setting.

As for this version of the story? Its been what six years? So who knows, Im not entirely against picking it up again, but Im hoping the rewrite will be better using what ive learnt (probably won't be though ??)

Thank you for reading Daily Diary and being patient with me for all those years!
