  ...

The surge of strength and mana as booth [Soul's Muster] & [Deepborn] activated. I felt a tight blanket rap around me. The sword in my grip was an almost simple arming sword and yet there where small embellishments and designs along the handle and blade. Rasing the sword Infront of me it fit in perfectly with my shield. It's shorter reach was going to be a detractor but the ethereal sharpness to was surreal.

[Extra Planer Geomancy] and [Floramancy] heeded my call and the stones and blossoming plant life wreathed like a rough sea. A combination of enlarged plant life and rock rose up against the King who grasped one and tore it from the ground but it comrades avenged it as spear points of earth pierced into his lower thigh and the plants tried to hold him down.

"[King's—" the King tried to call out a skill, an appearant requirement for most of his, and I blasted off and slammed into him cutting him off before it could activate. The King backed away blood dripping from his lip. Wiping the red liquid from his face and chin he flared his Mana and the vibrance of youth slightly decreased. Slamming into the Giant King in order to stop him but all he did was summon a gust of magical force to sweep me away.

"[King's Inherited Largesse]" the King stated and youth faded from him like a drying riverbed and the mana followed in torrents to random parts of space and then their was metaphysical shimmer and sea of hostile Mana lured from nowhere and became a typhoon of magical power. Deep black veins snaked across the Kings body and small purple dots now peppered his face. The King Breathed in and he swelled in physical might yet their was certain level of fragility that clung to him.

He pressed forward in a flash of movement, and I quickly rose up and parried the axe blade. My sword hummed and it changed its angle unobtrusively and the King staggered back as a force of kickback hit and pushed him back.

He remastered himself and my foe pressed on this time I let the baked slip past and the sea of rock clutched to the Giant blade giving me enough time to score the flesh on his right elbow. Bright red fled from the appendage flowing like small creek. The King snapped his arm and threw me off, power broiled through me and I was caught mid air by a wave of earth. Dragging my self below the Earthen tides I watched my opponent.

He was wary and stared at the ground itself with anxiety, looking through my magical senses I saw the earth hanging above his head. I couldn't confidently loosen enough to just crush him out right without risking a collapse but I could loosen some of it. Either he defended himself from above and gets attacked from below or he gets attacked from above and defends an attack from below. Ensnaring the earth above I loosened some of it, the King snapped up as the sound waves reached him. He snapped to and as he turned to defend himself I attacked my sword seeking his blood the intrustment of divine will thrumming alongside me.

This tale has been unlawfully lifted from Royal Road; report any instances of this story if found elsewhere.

Almost impossibly fast the Giant King tried around his body snapping to the soft crackle of old joints didn't stop him as his face met my side biting through my armor and drawing blood. Crashing into the earth like a puppet discarded by it Master. I groaned the taste of iron on my mouth like I was chewing on a metal bar. A thin yet syrupy liquid dance on my tongue. Spiting it out the red stood in bright contrast against the greys and soft blacks of the stone. Looking at it for a moment I saw a swirl of colors in the background. Golden flecks, a dark green undertone, and thin streaks of blue so thin you had too look for it.

I snapped out of the lethargy of my body as my small trusty pocketwatch warned me of the impending doom. Dropping into the stone I appeared behind the giant and with a clean swift cut through I tore his Achilles tendon. A great below roared from him. Two great tendrils of mana seized my wrists and began to try and pull me apart for second as I was caught off guard I felt my musculature and tendons struggle. With a simple burst of strength though they unraveled.

Using the added altitude as the Giant was recovering from his wound I dug the blade of my arming sword across the length of his back. The Kings mundane armor parted as if it were butter as a long wound poured out fresh pain and wounds.

Hobbling he turned towards me, a look of solemn defiance, and it was then that I realized that my earlier attacks with [Goblins babe] had grown and that his blood was dragged half way across the arena. I might be flagging but he was done for. Except for the massive amounts of swirling Mana that bayed behind the old kings back.

"My family has accumulated this Mana for generations, good luck may you survive, [Sundering Fall: You Fall Two]" I tied to stop the activation but it was too late the magic became volitive and a magical explosion, one of the soul rather then the body slammed into me.

And I passed In to a dark dreary sleep.

  Anastasia's P.O.V

I watched High up the palace as the King of the Giants stood their for a moment and then I felt a massive explosion energy and then I saw Kien be blasted through the stone wall. Then I felt a tug as I was ripped away from the tutorial.

Time will not pass during this interim the Testee' soul will only be healed to the bare requirement as excessive soul damage goes against accord 1.43meni.332.

  ...

Web's be dammed what the fuck did Kien do to get this treatment? Ehh, probably pissed off some higher planer entity.

  Dothrinoxtin's P.O.V

  ...

"Yes, I'm aware of the fact that tutorial denizen did in fact cause near-permeant soul damage to a being that could be consistuted as being your offspring, however, it is important to note that you had to true role in his upbringing and you also willing let him enter and hid his nature in order to get him into the tutorial, so no the system shall not pay recompense for the breach of Clause, any and all parties will get that chance after said parties have recovered, now have a good day" I stated looking at the splinter of a being several times greater then me, acting as what was that Terran phrase again... Oh, yes a Karen. Chuckling to myself as the being before me composed themselves and looked down at him.

"Getting uppity for an artificial Daemon? Hmm, I could destroy the very history of your existence, and no I'm not a Karen... Beware of this happens again I will destroy you for harming such a valuable potential house member" this is why I hated higher Planar beings then me, they could literally look at my emotions and thoughts. However I couldn't give a shit, I may be the Daemon of first introductions but by the Realties was I more like a Mortal divine help desk. Ugh... I hated flexing System Authority.

"No, Listen Hear, in this reality I am absolute, the System is Absolute, and the Higher Planars may have established it, but it's own beast, and I catch medaling in the affairs of a tutorial You will Feel it, now as the Terrans say it, Begone Thot!" I stated and the full brunt of System authority pushed her out. Shaking off the feeling of unity of, losing ones ego even temporarily was jaring. It was a safe guard to prevent me from using it's power for my own purposes. I had only manged to eek out the joke at the end because of how little authority I used.

The particular being was annoyingly powerful and annoyingly meddlesome. Her influence already far and wide and was pain to move against.
