Kien's P.O.V

Stretching after the last fight, I parted from the group and walked back to the cafeteria. After a quick meal, I moved back to my forge area with my bed and leaned into it sleep slowly claimed me. This time I didn't dream of Noble or Eldritch but rather I was in a plane of absence. Their was a floor that I was standing on but all around me was darkness. No light, looking down I could feel my body but I couldn't see it.
Then far away in the distance was a figure, humanoid in appearance with bright fiery golden hair.
"You have come far, seedling you have bloomed in the wild were your other kin have wilted in gardens, and so you shall be granted a glimpse of birthright, when you awake you will not remember this but you will gain a modicum of your true power" the figure stated I was confused for a moment before something scrapped at the edge of my memory something I had been forced to...

I awoke to a start my body was sweating profusely and my heart was thundering in my chest. I tried to recall what had happened but my memory was drawing a blank. Then a system notification appeared.

What the hell did mean heritage? Did I gain a bonus for being an American? Was it an Earth thing? Feeling the insertion of knew knowledge I felt that the limits of my skill where and they were steadfast. Which raised the question who was the Predecessor? Taking a small stone I held it and with a breath and some Mana and a fragment of Divinity, life was born. Single cell organisms had come to life on this small stone. Too small for me to see but an extra sense from my skill alerted me of their presence.
Sitting up I placed the small stone down and departed. After I grabbed some grub I went up to Anastasia's lab. Therein the Spider was weaving a complex exoskeleton of what would become a puppet.
"Hey-ho, Anastasia what you working on?" I asked as I sat down on what looked like a clean stool and waited for Anastasia to finish up her project. After she finished with the last stitch she turned to me her head bobbing in excitement, rare was the time that Anastasia wasn't happy.
"Kien, what's up! I have begun to work on the Inheritor of Kaihao physiology, and that heart/crystal thing he consumed wreaked havoc on his body.

Noble
As I was creating a nice small apartment iny domain for me to live in I felt a blast of divine power enter my domain, most of it was The Depths however their was also a decent amount of the Domain of Storms which seemed completely random. Taking a moment I checked in mentally with Kien and Eldritch and the only clue they had was that it had to do with something about unlocking our 'heritage' which was as about as useful as putting glasses over a blindfold. We still didn't know what it meant, however I wasn't about to look a gift horse in the mouth. Moving past that I continued to make improvements to my domain. A nice waterfall here, a creek there, a tasteful amount of various crystals. I was definitely trying for that mysterious look, like you were stepping into a the cave of an oracle or a great seer. Inside my Apartment though I found something that would definitely put me ahead well me, in the terms of comforts. I could tap into Earth concepts of technology to replicate it. These Replications worked moreso how people believed they worked as it came from the common understanding of it. I had TVs, a full kitchen and video games, I mean sure I spent most of my time sleeping and what time I was awake was mainly dealing with prayers and making sure not to go over 'budget' when solving problems.
Stolen from its original source, this story is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings.
That didn't mean I wasn't absolutely grinding on a few rpgs I liked to play, and I had spent a considerable amount of time creating a great library of Earth Literature. It cost me an egregious amount of Divinity for some reason but I figured it was worth it. I later found out why it was so expensive, turns out I basically summoned versions that weren't considered claimed. I even had a few scrolls papyrus which I was to afraid to touch but admired from afar.
After that I created a few ingots of metal and summon my [Divine Toolset]. With the low coals of my new forge I began to forge a simple sword. Almost immediately I felt fatigue which is why I saved this for last. The metal slowly took shaped under the thumb of my hammer and heat of the forge. Slowly the short sword took shape, with little to no embellishments. After the sword itself was done I created the strips for the grip, and after securing them to handle I pressed my touch-mark on the hilt of the sword.
I could tell as soon as I considered it finished the blade became a minor divine artifact which I could bestow on one of my mortal followers in order to protect them. Which was pretty cool, but now I wished I had made it grand in appearance. However I didn't have the energy before sleep gripped me.

Eldritch

My world was in flux around me as I walking through the twisting halls of the Tyrants fortress. I saw visions of night, and of the shadow of darkness, something darker then no light. It came like hammer to my skull pounding deep inside my skull as I felt the world around me close in as my head thumped. Eventually it faded and I came out with a deeper understanding of a concept beyond mortal logic.
I felt Noble thump in question as he had received a buttload of Divinity from the seemingly nowhere. Kien had received a skill for creating micro organisms. I had apparently received a comprehension bonus for the paradox of [Night's Shadow].
Which was pretty lame, no offense to Kien but his was the worst, Noble had gotten the Best and I received something that might, keyword might be useful. Moreso we received a bunch of questions and no answers about these 'gifts' origins and the intent of the originator.
My days were mainly consistent of viewing information, some light training, and then a bunch of etiquette classes. How to be polite to various incomprehensible beings, like for more classical octopus themed asking them how many tentacles they had was polite. Their were a lot of rules and ways to catch others being rude it was like a game of cat and mouse during dinners and luncheons. I had feeling that I would not be enjoying those meetings.
Walking to my current appointment with the Honorable Tyrant as I was currently coming up with my own ideas of kind of paradox I wanted to go for. Noble was about protecting and guiding people, Kien was about destroying stuff to make it a new. Where did I sit though? I was the 'youngest' of the three and I didn't have some great responsibility besides staying alive. So far I had thought about something powerful, [Mournful Conquest] sounded equally powerful and yet depressing but something along that vein could be powerful.
Entering the room that Honorable Tyrant had selected for our meeting. I saw that he hadn't entered yet. Sitting down on one of the couches I waited.
A few minutes ticked by and a part of me wondered if I had selected the wrong room. Then the door opened and a small precession entered sweeping across the room before they exited and then the Lord of the Sunlit Night entered.
"Ah, Eldritch How goes it!" The Tyrant stated as he cheerfully sat down onto the couch opposite of me.
"Decently your facilities has been greatly appreciated, although I have still yet to lock onto a paradox yet." I responded and I watched the face of Tyrant avoiding his gaze.
"As expected, it is in important decision, however I come bearing two pieces of news, but first tell me specifically which paradoxes are thinking about now?" He asked curiously his eyes falling onto the folder folded in my arm.
"Alright well here's what I got, foremost, I was thinking of something to do with Conquest, do to the power of those paradoxes, my problem is finding something to counterbalance it without making it to weak." I stated as I pulled out some of my notes, mainly philosophical musings.
"Hmm, let's see here" the Tyrant mummered as he flipped through the notes, before neatly placing them down.
"First off remember, sometimes two ideas can be perceived as contradictory when in some languages its not, so be careful, secondly, Conquest isn't bad, but it tends to end up being a snake that eats its own tail after a century, powerful enough to ward away other conquerors, but not strong enough to break the confides of his territory." The Lord explained.
"Makes sense, any others you might recommend?" I asked trying to see what the Tyrant viewed as the most useful paradoxes.
"Well, that was one of the two things I was going to be bringing up so why not right now?" The Lord paused as he took out a long thin parchment from nowhere and laid it out on the table, a mass of shifting lines and random words.
"Alright well first off I have located my daughter's first target, a group of somewhat powerful Entities that have come together to form a small domain for banditry, oh wait let me freeze the map for a moment" the Tyrant said at the very end and the lines stopped moving and I could recognize it as a map.
