Chapter 20: Mission Complete! Congrats on the New Gender!

I have a date tonight! I have a date with Olivia!!

After we parted ways for our next lectures, I found myself practically skipping along. I was pretty sure I looked kinda goofy, with a massive smile on my face, but I didn’t care. I just got asked out by a cute girl and I said yes!

What happened in my next css? Uh, probably something important. I don’t know, I don’t care, I have a date! With a girl! And I’m a girl! I have a lesbian date!

Rachel noticed when we met up for lunch. Of course she did, I could not stop smiling.

“What’s got you so happy?” Rachel asked.

  “I have a date!” I replied happily.

Rachel looked away. “Congratutions,” she said quietly. “Olivia?”

  I nodded. “Yup! With Liv!”

  “Oh,” she said. “When?”

“Tonight,” I said. “Or this evening, I guess.”

“Oh,” Rachel said. “Um, have fun, I guess?”

I was starting to feel a bit awkward. Rachel was refusing to look me in the eye and responding in an almost monotone.

  “Um, y-yeah, I will,” I replied.

We split up to grab our lunches once we reached the cafeteria — Rachel grabbed a sandwich, I got some pizza. As we sat down, I caught Liv’s eye from where she was sitting with Hazel and the others. I debated sitting with them, but I didn’t want to leave Rachel alone. I gave Liv a wave, and she waved back.

Hazel turned to see who Liv was waving at, and spotted me. She gave me a wide smirk then winked (or tried her best to wink) at me.

“I guess I was wrong then,” Rachel said. “You are a girl, so, yeah, the lesbians would be into you.”

I turned to face her. “Uhhh, yeah,” I said. “Wait, what are you talking about?”

“Like, a week ago or whatever, I said they wouldn’t be into you because they're lesbians. Well, you’re not a guy, so… uh… yeah. Anyway…” Rachel ughed nervously. “And now you’ve got a date with one of them.”

“Are you jealous?” I asked before I could stop myself.

“What?” Rachel said. “Uh, nope. Nuh uh. Not jealous. Not even slightly jealous of you getting to be a girl and a lesbian and going on dates with lesbians as a lesbian.”

I snorted. “Girl, you used lesbian like three times in the sentence. I think you might be jealous.”

Rachel shook her head vigorously. “I am not jealous!” She was blushing. Totally jealous. What an egg. “I’m just, uh, really happy for you. That’s all. Not jealous. Why would I be jealous?”

I was about to attempt to unpack Rachel’s amazing denial of her own desire to be a girl, but before I could say anything, I was interrupted by Sophie’s voice.

“Heyyyy,” she said. “Um, Rachel, right?” She pointed to Rachel.

Rachel blinked. “Um, yeah, I guess…”

“Great!” She said. “Right, so, um, fuck, Lilly, Rachel, I want to extend an invitation to both of you.” She paused. “Oh, for a, uh, slumber party at my pce this weekend. Everyone’s gonna be there. Iris, Liv, Hazel, Venny and her bandmates…”

“That sounds fun,” I said. “Saturday night?”

Sophie nodded. “Yup! Saturday. You’ll be there? Um, I should text you the address I think…” she took out her phone and tapped on the screen a few times, then sighed. “Lilly, what’s your phone number?”

I giggled at her, then told her my number.

“Thanks Lilly! You are going to be there, right?”

I nodded. “Yeah, I’ll be there.”

“Great!” Sophie said brightly. “Um, how about you, Rachel?”

Rachel grimaced. “Um, uh, n-no thanks. I-I’m good.”

“Oh,” Sophie said, sounding disappointed. “Well, if you don’t want to come, that’s fine. You’re welcome to come if you change your mind though!”

  Rachel didn’t respond.

“Uh, ok then,” Sophie said awkwardly. “Well, I’ll talk to you two ter.” She turned and headed back to sit with her girlfriend and the others.

“You should come,” I said quietly to Rachel.

She shook her head. “I-I shouldn’t,” she said. “It’s not- I’m not- I’m not really a girl, so it wouldn’t be right for me to-”

“Bullshit,” I hissed. “Rachel, you can just be a girl if you want, that’s how this works.”

Rachel shook her head. “I-I can’t. Lilly, just… please drop this. I just can’t, ok?”

“You totally can!” I said. “Rachel-”

Rachel stood up abruptly. “I have to go,” she said. She picked up what was left of her sandwich before turning and almost running away from me.

Fucking hell, Lilly, stop pushing her so much!

I was intercepted by Cra after lunch.

“Hey, is your friend doing alright?”

I shook my head. “Pretty sure she’s not.”

“Damn,” Cra replied. “Uh, anyway, Sophie says you’ll be joining us on Saturday?”

I nodded. “Um, yeah, I’ll be there.”

“Cool,” she said. “Oh, also, good luck on your date tonight. And don’t fuck it up.”

  I blinked. “Umm…”

“As in don’t hurt Liv, ok?”

“Are we really having this conversation?” I asked.

“Yes, Lilly, we are,” Cra said, giving me an intense look. “Hazel’s too… Hazel to do this. Venny would not be discreet about it. Iris and Sophie don’t feel comfortable giving this sort of talk, and Quinn… well, Quinn would, but they have css now. So I’m doing this.”

“Ok, but is this really necessary?” I asked, anxious to get out of this conversation.

“Not strictly, no,” Cra replied. She smirked. “But it is fun watching you squirm.” She patted me on the shoulder and walked off.

  “RGjrigjiejgitjhirjwo,” I said.

I had no csses during the afternoon on Wednesdays, so I decided to head home, texting Liv to let her know where I was going to be.

I might have time to finish the game before our date.

Liv texted back letting me know she’d pick me up at six.

With that, I settled in to finish my pythrough with a can of Pepsi and a bag of chips.

The final mission of the game had the pyer character teaming up with Amethyst to take down the big bad behind all the mysterious happenings in the city. As a final twist, the big bad was… some guy you apparently met during some earlier mission in the game. As far as twists go, I have to say, very underwhelming. Ah well, the story may be mid, but at least the game looks pretty and the gamepy is super satisfying. Oh, and the game feminised me, that was definitely a big positive.

Three out of four ain’t bad?

The ending sequence involved the building colpsing (because of course it did) and the pyer having to escape with Amethyst. Finally, the ending cutscene pyed, and the little autosave icon appeared in the corner. A Steam notification popped up letting me know I’d gotten a new achievement.

  Congrats on the new gender!

I stared at the notification until it went away. I let out a snort. Haha, very funny game.

I ignored the in-game Lillith (who, aside from being made of computer graphics, could’ve been my twin) during the cutscene. I needed to check. I slipped my hand under my skirt.

Instead of my stupid dick, my hand was instead met by the sensitive folds of my new vulva. Needing visual confirmation, I pulled my skirt and panties down a bit.

Yup, that’s a vagina alright. It was beautiful and it was, importantly, mine.

  What a relief.

I pulled my skirt and panties back into pce and stood, stretching. The cutscene finished, and I closed out of the game. I’d probably come back to it to finish up some of the post-game content, but, for now, I just wanted to rex and wait for Liv to come pick me up, which was still an hour and a half away.

I was interrupted by a buzz from my phone.

XxChained_RachelxX: hey, can u let me in?

I sent a reply letting her know I was coming down to get her. I should probably see about getting her some keys for herself, so she could come and go as she pleased, rather than having to rely on me to let her into the apartment.

She seemed anxious when I let her in. She was fidgeting with the strap of her (very girly) purse.

“Hey,” I said. “How were csses?”

She gred at me. “Fucking awful.”

I led her up the stairs to the floor my unit was on. “You could change majors, you know. To something you like more. Creative writing, maybe?”

  Rachel didn’t respond.

“I’m gonna see about getting you a set of keys so you can let yourself in,” I said.

Rachel let out a soft ‘mmm’ of acknowledgement.

I let us into my apartment.

  “Hey quick question,” Rachel said.

  “Yeah?”

“Did your character have those piercings?” she asked.

  “Um, yeah,” I replied.

“Then why-” Rachel gestured to her ears “-don’t I have any?”

“Maybe you missed some sidequest or something.”

“O-Oh…” Rachel said. I turned to see her wincing, her hands over her tits. Wonder what that’s about.

“Nah, I just got them done yesterday,” I said. “Although, maybe there is a sidequest that gives you piercings. Wouldn’t shock me.”

Rachel flopped onto the couch. “Whatever, it’s not like I’m gonna be gaming much anyway. There isn’t exactly anywhere here I can set my PC up.”

I nodded slowly, looking around, finding that, to my complete unsurprise, Rachel was entirely correct. Not unless I wanted to buy a whole new desk and squeeze it in the space between the couch and the wall. I didn’t bring up gaming on her ptop, I knew it wasn’t powerful enough to run really intense games. She could py a lot of Stardew Valley, I guess.

“Uh, so I’ve still got like an hour until Liv comes to pick me up for our date,” I said. “Do you maybe wanna do something until then?”

Rachel shrugged. “I’ve got homework.” She made no move to get her ptop out of her bag to actually do her homework.

I sat on the couch next to her. “I’ll, uh, put something on YouTube then?”

  “Sure,” Rachel said.

I turned on my TV, then opened up YouTube.

  Oh! New Jet Lagged! Sweet.
