Chapter 89: She Will Keep On Getting Away With It...
Xena: “Tied… to her Soul? Runeth, your mother only… mostly cheats on accident, and doesn’t want such a thing willingly given to her. Especially not by a family member…” She said with a lecturing, but motherly tone.
Runeth: “I know, but it is absolutely needed for Celia’s survival. If I have the chance… giving the three other Mana Beings the same ability, I’d do it in a heartbeat.” She replied without remorse, tone that of utter seriousness.
Xena: “…”
Celia needs this cheat to… live? How does that make any sense at all? And besides… this is too late into the narration to have such an important story aspect/plot show up out of nowhere!!!
What’s worse… is that Runeth’s cheekiness vanished in that reply, meaning that, while she is, of course very young, she knows when to be serious. Even still, what exactly could be threatening Celia, Nemu, Zelia, and Eternanel’s lives? We surely haven’t overlooked something…
Runeth: “I’ll be honest… the cheat wasn’t supposed to reveal itself so early. Though, it does help solve the problem quicker, so I am not going to complain about my little mistake.” She said with a cheeky giggle, returning to her normal self.

Celia: “…You’ve inherited my vagueness, I see. Can you please explain why you’ve done this, and won’t undo it?” She expressed with a groan.
Runeth: “While messing with Pure Mana, your Soul is malleable. As I saw you do it… I realized that your vessel requires immense power to be able to fully house your Soul, which, as you know, is Pure Mana.” She nonchalantly replied, lightly playing with her hair.
Zelia: “Alright, we know how you added a cheat to Celia’s System. But we’re still missing why it was needed in the first place.” She said with a thinking pose.
Runeth: “A person made out of Pure Mana… their very existence itself is fragile. Nemu nearly died from just messing around with Pure Mana Magic. Do you know why she was so injured from it, despite such a thing, a unique Magic, that should be one that Nemu and the others can use?” She replied with a knowing (cheeky) tone.
Later, After We Confirmed Everything Our New Daughter Said.
Long story short, Runeth was just being a brat; though she did do a good thing. Basically, Pure Mana Magic isn’t usable without major health risks, because… neither Pure Mana Being has enough Pure Mana to use.
The final, unknown Evolution, and near its max Level… is what they require to use such special Magic safely and causally.
As for the danger… it is minimal. Nemu, Zelia, Celia, and Eternanel (Runeth was birthed from Pure Mana, but isn’t a Pure Mana girl), even if they stay the same Level… it would take at least two million years before they explode due to their vessel being unable to house their Souls.
Celia: “So… since that is done, I’m going to go kill an unholy number of those Evolutionary Failures!” She exclaimed with an extremely excited tone and expression.
