Chapter 208: Black Horn Region

  Chapter 208: Bck Hion

"Bck Hion," a special region formed out of chaos and built outside Jia Nan Academy, puzzled many on the ti. They wondered why such a tumultuous area existed he a and venerable academy.

Regardless, its existence was a reality, ae years of suppression, the "Bck Hion" tio expand at a staggering rate. Its incredible resilience baffled those who sought to suppress it.

The domain was vast, having growhe years to the size of a small try, distinct from the rest of the ti.

The key differeween this area and other empires was its ck of a singur leader. In this region, various powers fought ceaselessly for their is, creating an enviro as disanized as scattered sand.

Perhaps this very chaos was what allowed the "Bck Hion" to grow so signifitly at the ti's heart. Otherwise, no power would tolerate such a disruptive and rapidly strengthening force that could pose a threat to them.

Despite the notorious chaos of the "Bck Hion," the high-grade Dou Teiques, bat teiques, and medial pills that flowed through it attracted many powerful beings from across the ti. After all, acquiring advaeiques could signifitly bolster their jouro greater strength. Such temptation was irresistible for the strong.

Thus, the "Bck Hion" was like a dark, bottomless pit, drawing tless treasures through various els, only to be aued off at exorbitant prices.

  ...

After leaving the Serpent Race's pce, Gu He headed straight for the Bck Hion.

Now, after nearly five days, the monotonous mountain ranges below suddenly thinned out.

Standing atop the Bck Scaled Frigid Python, Gu He looked towards the horizon, where a dark pin appeared like a bck line, clearly separating the world inside from the outside.

"So this is the Bck Hion?"

Looking at the bck line growing in his view, Gu He's tired and dusty face suddenly brightened with a relieved smile.

The "Bck Hion" was the gateway to the "Bck Hion." Stepping into it meaering a world pletely different from the outside.

"First, I should find a map before venturing further into the Bck Hion."

With a thought, Gu He steered the Bck Scaled Frigid Python to desd slowly towards the pins below.

The Bck Hion were vast and monoe, making it easy to lose one's way. Without a map, it would take much loo ehe heart of the Bck Hion. A precise map would make the journey much easier.

Moreover, traveling to the Bck Hion atop the Bck Scaled Frigid Python would attrauch attention, something Gu He preferred to avoid.

Although his strength as a ar Dou Zong, bined with the Bck Scaled Frigid Python, ah-ical beast, was formidable enough to sweep through the entire Bck Hion, he decided to be cautious and learn more about the domain first.

Even though he had some knowledge about the Bck Hion from the inal story, experieng it firsthand was different.

After all, the Soul Hall existed within the Bck Hion, and deep within, at a pce called Burial Se, there was a Soul branch temple guarded by a Soul Hall Venerable with Dou Zong strength.

If he drew too much attention from the Soul Hall, being in the dark while the enemy was in the light would be too passive.

That was something Gu He wao avoid.

After nding, Gu He stored the Bck Scaled Frigid Python in his system spad then walked towards a nearby tribe with his aura cealed.

  ...

Moments ter, Gu He saw a tribe appear before him, slowing down as he approached its gate.

Gu He had sensed with his soul power that the tribe was not small. With nearly a huents and tinuous seemed quite lively.

As he he tribe's gate, Gu He's expression turned cold, aepped back.

The moment, an arrow whizzed through the air and embedded itself in the ground before him, clearly shot with lethal i.

If it had been a weaker individual, they would have fallen on the spot.

After Gu He dodged the arrow, a low sound of surprise came from behind the tribe's fence.

"I'm just passing through and wao resupply. What do you mean by this?" Gu He asked coldly, gng at a spot on the fence.

"Hmph, are you a rookie who just ehe Bck Hion? Don't you know the rule of tribute from a hundred meters away before entering a tribe?" A figure leaped onto the fence. Initially startled by Gu He's question, they quickly seemed to uand, raising an eyebrow with a ing look in their eyes.

  Hearing this, Gu He frowribute?

  "Is it a road toll?"

"Five hundred gold s, hurry up. Don't dilly-dally and waste my time. Don't tell me you 't even afford the road toll?" Seeing Gu He's surprised expression, the skinny man's eyes gleamed with mischief. His voice slowed a bit as he urged.

"No wo's the most chaotic p the ti. I haven't even properly entered, and I'm already beiorted for a road fee."

Gu He looked at the man with a cold smile, then flipped his hand, produg a bag of gold s and tossing it to the man, who quickly caught it. After ting, the man waved his hand and ordered coldly, "Opee."

Upon hearing this, the ramshackle wooden gate of the tribe creaked open, revealing the streets and the bustling crowd inside.

  "e on in, rookie."

With a grin, the skinny man looked indifferently at Gu He, then said with a sneer.

"The 'Bck Hion' really is full of abnormal people..."

A cold thought crossed Gu He's mind as he slowly stepped through the gate, seemingly unguarded.

Seeing this, the skinny man's eyes glinted colder, and Gu He could even hear him chug sinisterly.

Entering the tribe, Gu He saw streets formed by tents. Various stalls dispyed all sorts of odd items outside the tents. Many people, armed with ons, were l around.

"First, I should find a map for sale."

Muttering to himself, Gu He was about to ehe street when suddenly, three men with gleaming bdes blocked his path, their faces twisted in grim smiles.

"Hey, you're a greenhorn to the Bck Hion, aren't you? Let me teach you a rule: never let others see you're a newbie."

A harsh, jeering ugh sounded from behind. Turning, Gu He saw the skinny man holding a bow, with an arrow aimed straight at him.

"Hand over everything you have – money, ons, or whatever else. If I'm in a good mood, maybe I'll just take one arm as a penalty for your mistake," the skinny man sneered.

"Typical of the Bck Hion... but sadly, no matter how high grasshoppers jump, they're still just grasshoppers."

Gu He sed the street, noting the crowd's rea. None came to his aid; instead, they watched with amusement, as if enjoying a show.

Experieng this firsthand, Gu He uood something.

In the Bck Hion, don't let anyone figure out your true strength. Don't expey help from the onlookers; them not joining in to attack is already normal.

Gu He coldly faced the three men blog him, "Move!"

At his and, their faces darkened, and they lu Gu He with their bdes, striking mercilessly.

  "Thud, thud, thud"

Before their bdes could reach him, a dark shadow fshed. The three men's faces turned pale as if struck by a giant hammer, and they were smmed into the tents behind them, their blood staining the white vas.

  "Damn it!"

In a fsh, the three panions were gravely ihe skinny man's eyes fshed with fear and ferocity. Just as he was about to release the arrow, a white figure appeared behind him. A chilling whisper followed, "ime, better assess the strength of your oppo before you act. Though, I doubt there'll be a ime."

  "Spsh!"

With a swift palm strike, blood and shattered ans burst forth.

Gu He walked past the fallen man with an indifferent fad tinued dowreet. Seeing his approach, the inally mog crowd quickly ged their expressions, letting the blood-sted figure pass by.

As Gu He disappeared around a er, the crowd resumed its bustle. They looked at the body at the gate, not with pity but with admiration. "Hey, that guy was ruthless. He didn't hesitate at all. A real man. Looks like he'll do just fine in the Bck Hion."
