  Iko tried her best to hide her annoyance “If the spears on the way move when I try to leave, you’ll leave me alone, deal?” Iko tried to bargain, if they really were designed to be stronger than the enemy, she was as good as dead.

  Iko tried to use their confusion of her identity to her advantage.

  “I’ll tell my father to get you a raise?” She said and surprisingly, the monster was actually thinking about it.

  “Fine, but 1 try, no more no less” He said and all the guards moved to the side, letting her pass.

  As Iko walked towards the spears, the guards that didn’t talk looked at her with pity.

  “Hey, can I keep the wings? They sell for good money in the guild!” The boy with the bow said from a destroyed wall.

  “You want to sell me?” Iko said, trying to not get mad.

  “A talking monster at that! Will be rich guys!” The woman dashed towards Iko, while the man behind her tried to grab her.

  The woman and the man fell to their knees.

  “Weak, not even worth killing” She said that, but she didn’t actually want to kill humans, she was one before everything and still had her morals-

  An Arrow passed by and damaged her newly acquired cloak.

  She turned her face towards the boy, her breathing turned heavy, and she could feel the black spears growing faster.

  But she didn’t care, they broke something that was hers.

  He screamed, and that was what she wanted.

  The woman and the man tried to attack her after recovering from her roar, but it didn’t matter.

  Her gaze landed on his face corrupting it with his whole body, he would now glitch in and out of reality trapped by the black spears, reliving the pain over and over again, until she deemed he was forgiven, but breaking a memory of her mother was going to not get him forgiveness at all.

  Iko didn’t even check the system.

  She walked towards the dead bodies and started drinking their blood.

  “You... do not qualify as human”

  Iko didn’t even think about drinking the blood of the one who damaged the memory, he didn’t deserve to be part of her.

  As Iko seemed to realize what she did, she looked around her but didn’t feel any type of guilt.

  “Why did I call this piece of old cloak a last memory?” She seemed to forget why she had done that, but she didn’t feel bad, on the contrary, she craved for more fighting.

  “I knew I liked fighting but killing humans... feels so good~” She decided to try to make the spears disappear, but she couldn’t.

  “Can I continue talking now?” The demon said, floating next to her.

  “Sure” Iko said while hiding her excited face while walking towards the pillar of corruption, she just felt that was the way to go.

  “Where did you learn to use a sword like that?” The demon said looking at the sword she had on her hand.

  “No idea, last time I used a sword I got completely destroyed” She said looking at the sword in her hand.

  How did I even create this? I can’t summon the spears at will, less a sword, well I did kind of summon them at will this time...

  “Well, let’s go to the tower or whatever that thing is!” Iko said while taking flight, the spears following her on the ground.

  “Oh, I should check the quest the system mentioned so I can continue leveling up!”

  He fell on his butt, his eyes shaking, he couldn’t breathe.

  The monster had deep black eyes with black scales, but one of its eyes was white, it was surrounded by black chains, chaining him to the depths beyond the sea.

  “Not going to talk? Whatever, a plus to that girl, she knows how to bring a good food... seventy-six-point fifty-four percent of corruption...” The monster opened its mouth and devoured him on a single bite.

  But he came back. Every. Single. Time.
