The siege of Ghilantriaz becomes the agonising slog as Yorun and his allies knew it would be even as days pass then weeks and finally months all the while so little progress is made to destroying the barriers. Over the time the besieging forces of undead and elves have had casualties but their own defences have been built up to protect them properly. During this time the other sieges started by the elves have finished and new ones started that have been bogged down due to similar barriers. The most death to have been dealt during the siege of Ghilantriaz comes from attempted supply runs to the fortress as well as several elves or undead that have been blown apart. Yorun stands within the primary siege camp having just arrived for the day to check in, he finds the highest ranked elf there and sees Norilas.
"Hello Norilas, been a little bit since I've seen you here" Yorun said
"Well its a sometimes posting, if you're here for a check in well theres no progress, the other camps haven't seen anything and everyone's reported in" Norilas said
"I knew I'd get to this point eventually with the sieges but it doesn't make it any less aggravating" Yorun said
"Indeed and you do not lose that feeling no matter how many sieges like this you go through" Norilas said
"Well update me if anything changes over here, I'm going to take a walk around out lines to make sure nothings happened" Yorun said
"Fair enough" Norilas said
Yorun walks away heading around the encircled fortress seeing the by now familiar defences of the siege lines in which have properly maintained walls with slits for the mages and archers to fire through, Yorun is still happy seeing these defences yet also just as much to see the golem launchers having their own unique structures. As Yorun continues his inspection, in the distance at the coast where the elven ships remain anchored just off the coast itself occasionally firing towards Ghilantriaz from where they are. Beneath the group of ships, beneath the very waves they ride, a group of humans walk upon the ocean floor with magic being used to clear the water from around them giving a bubble of air around themselves with an object floating alongside them. When the group positions itself beneath the ships they send the object following them up out through the air bubble and through the water till it settles just beneath the waves, the object then pulses before a sudden surge of magic bursts out sensible for only a moment before nothing is sensed. Just as some of the ships crews begin to peer over the ships edges into the water below a pillar of ice shoots up out of the water with the group on top of it they then quickly jump from the ice pillar and land onto the different ships decks as the elves quickly respond ready for an attack though not of such a stealthy nature. The final figure on the ice pillar looks down at the elves, revealing himself to be Hykalin. The elves without fail all immediately begin fighting back the decks of the ships becoming soaked in blood but Hykalin only watches as his soldiers kill elves left and right save for the strongest amongst them who fend off the highly trained human soldiers. Hykalin with the indifference that he has been said to have looks in the direction of Ghilantriaz as he almost idly uses his magic and the blood on the ships move across the decks and with precision as well as efficiency the blood forms into spikes piercing into the gaps of the elves armour and killing them before they notice the blood that moved. The human soldiers cheer for Hykalin who lands on the main ship.

"Clear the ships up and burn the bodies, we need this place sorted out" Hykalin said before the soldiers immediately began cleaning the ships of the blood and burning the bodies
Hykalin melts the ice pillar he and his soldiers rose up on, Hykalin then floats the object in the water up to him putting it on his belt before teleporting back to his own fortified camp where he operates out of. A soldier approaches.
"If you are back prince Hykalin we can only assume it has gone well, congratulations" The soldier said
"Do not give accolades for such a trivial operation, only give it should the end results be what I plan for" Hykalin said
"Of course prince Hykalin" The soldier said
Hours pass and the soldiers left on the elven ships have since shape shifted and finished cleaning up after the battle they sense several people teleport nearby and approach, they keep it cool as they see the elves coming.
"How goes the situation out here?" One of the approaching elf soldiers asked
"Fine, we've attacked a few times today but well you know how it is with that damnable barrier" A shapeshifted human said
"Indeed, anyway it's time you lot get some food and relaxation, let us relieve you and you head to the siege camp. You'll be glad to step off these ships for the first time in a few weeks" The same elf said before laughing a little
"Aye you have no idea" The Shapeshifted human said
"Your accents a little funny, you from near the borders? Let me guess, half elf, half human?" The elf soldier asked
"Yeah, close, quarter elf but you can guess which part of my family I favour more" The shapeshifted human said before laughing as he disembarked from the ship with his allies
The shapeshifted humans are teleported to the primary siege camp by the elven soldiers who get onto the ships in their place, the shapeshifted humans meanwhile look around and begin to spread out around the camp. They mostly keep to themselves and go to get food in order to blend in but after they do so they start looking around asking after different elves based on common elven names and heading off in directions that some people point them too eventually allowing them to head to the different siege camps. No one in the camps is in the know of the infiltrators they've just allowed in except for the humans themselves who work quickly to endear themselves to the other living beings of the camps though they try their hardest to stay away from locations the defenders of Ghilantriaz are attacking lest they be killed by those they hope to free. Back in Hykalins camp a soldier comes into his tent.
"Prince Hykalin, we have confirmed out soldiers were teleported away by the elven soldiers now on the ships, based on what we could gleam from watching and reading their lips they held no suspicion and so through distant spying we can confirm out soldiers are in the enemy siege camps" The soldier said
"Good, give them a few days time and when the signal is given we launch our strike" Hykalin said pleased with the result
Hykalins men celebrate a little the successful infiltration while Hykalin himself does not, he just continues his planning though he is happy about the object used during the attack and is glad the men he sent in have infiltrated successfully with none in the attackers side of the siege aware of the threat in their midst...
