Until, years later, demonic hordes tore through the sky, decimating everything in their path. Humanity’s attempt at war crumbled like a child’s game. Soon, the demons ruled. They enslaved humans, drained resources, and left the world in a twisted state of normalcy.
People still had jobs. Technology advanced. But so did the diseases, the rituals, and the sacrifices. Nathan endured it all for the sake of his family. But when one of the demons’ Thralls came to claim one of his own, he couldn’t take it anymore.
The corpse of the Thrall awakened something inside him—a power buried deep, ancient, and hungry for vengeance.
They call it the Casket Heart.
It stores anything. Bends space. Devours rules.
Nathan doesn’t understand it yet, but he fully intends to use it.
He just has to figure out how.
What to expect:
- This is a slow-burn story. The MC was isekaied a few years before the story begins, and he watches the new world he was learning to call home be consumed by something evil.
- The MC isn’t a selfless hero and tries to be as rational as possible.
- He deeply cares about his family and fights for their sake.
- The story gets dark at times, with more fights as it progresses.
- There are two magic systems: one soft and mysterious, the other structured with clear progression. The MC uses both to his advantage.
- Expect longer chapters and fewer updates.
