After Marcus took his twenty septims from Angeline, he went back to the Winking Skeever.
“For making the potions, I traded the ingredients that I have for two wheats and a blue mountain flower."
Marcus took a deep breath and then sat down at the bar table.
“I would like a mead," he said to Vinius.
Vinius smirked at the word choice of Marcus, and then he put mead on his table and then asked.
“Anything to eat?"
Marcus thought for a moment and then.
“Something simple.”
Vinius nodded.
“I can give you some chicken?"
Marcus nodded.
“That would be great.”
Not much time ter, Vinius gave him a grilled chicken breast on a wooden pte.
Marcus ate as he drank.
“I need to read some books.”
“I still don't know many things about how things interact.”
“I should not be making mistakes.” He said to himself.
As he ate and drank, Vinius shouted to a young man.
Marcus looked for a moment and noticed that the young man was the same young man who gave him breakfast.
“Sorex, come here and go to the celr to fetch me some mead.”
Sorex came to the side of his father and nodded as he did what he was told without saying anything.
Father Vinius looked at Marcus and then murmured.
“That is my son, if you have not noticed.”
Marcus nodded and smiled back and did not comment.
After finishing his food, he thought for a moment and decided to go to Bard College.
Not because he wanted to be a bard, but he wanted to have some books on magic, on knowledge, on everything.
He remembered most of the things he focused on, but he has to know what to focus on to remember important things.
“The ability is not invincible; if I do not take actions, things just don't appear magically.”
“If it were that easy, achieving CH?M would be easy, and I would be most likely zero-summed at this point.”
Marcus thought as he walked.
At this point he was already getting used to every building that he wanted to go to being at least ten to fifteen minutes walking distance, which would be just one minute in the game.
After coming to the entrance of Bard College, he entered.
After he entered, he saw many people going left and right. Despite the crowd, the atmosphere was calm, and it gave a sense of serenity.
As he looked right and left, the chairs and the tables, the design on the walls, everything mostly.
A young man wearing a robe noticed him and then asked.
“May I help you, sir?" His voice was clear and good to hear. Clearly, this was a bard's college.
Marcus smiled back and then said.
“I am looking for books to read; this is the best pce without spending much money.”
“Can I read books here?"
The young man thought for a moment and then nodded.
“You may need to talk with the dean of history, Giraud Gemane.”
“If he lets you read, then you can; if he does not, you may have to buy the books that you want to read from him.”
Marcus nodded, and then the young man showed him the way to the library, and then he entered.
Not much time ter, he found the man he had been looking for.
"Hi," he said.
Giraud looked at him for a moment and then nodded.
Marcus then said that he would like to read some books here and there without paying if it is possible.
Giraud thought for a moment and then pointed to a small corner table close to him.
“You can read some of the books on the right side for free, at that table.”
“If you want to take it somewhere else or want to read books on the left side, or more important books, I am sorry, but you have to pay for it.”
“If you have books of any kind, I can buy them from you too if you want to.”
Geraid said and then turned to look at the book on the table, not looking or interested in Marcus anymore.
Marcus nodded and then went to the left-side shelves and started looking for something that would be useful to him or at least bring out more memories and let him focus.
Five minutes ter, he found two books that he would like to read that would be useful to him.
These two books were, namely, Souls, Bck and White, a book about enchanting, and Fragment: On Artaeum, a book about Psijic Monks and their story about the isnd and their vanishing action.
As Marcus took these books, he smiled and nodded.
“Yes.”
“I remembered.”
“There must be a book named The Crown Jewel: Song of the Alchemists here."
“It is a skill book, so if I can find it and read it, I would be able to test how 'skill books' like spell books work and also have an increase in my alchemy as well as test the 'missions' in this reality.”
Marcus remembered more as he interacted with the things more.
He knew that Lami in Morthal would give the dragonborn a quest to bring the Crown Jewel to her and, in return, give some csses about alchemy.
“It makes sense to test all of those things.”
“But, first, I want to read these books and find if anything is more different and detailed compared to the game.”
