=======================================================================
Today I woke up to a beams of light gently falling through the roof and the entrance of the building I was using as my shelter.
Disoriented by an unfamiliar place I woke up in I needed few minutes to readjust and recall what was happening. Once I did that I had a wide smile on my face like 3 year old getting his christmas present a month early.
Quickly sitting up I look around and first thing I see is a water pool.
It seems that it formed after a part of the building floor sunk in. And was filled with ground water.
Seeing this as a former Japanese I couldn't resist the urge to take a dip. And was pleasantly surprised by the warm water flowing over my body. After good soak I started swimming and playing around in a water. After about an hour of it.
*DING*
After I finished with my bath I wrapped myself back in my rags and picked up my bag. Remembering that I had seen several books inside I decided to inspect the rest of contents, but before I could start a loud grumble interrupted me.
It informed me that it was time to eat.
I wanted to try fried badger. But I had no fire. So I had to abstain from it. Instead I pulled out another chunk of [Horned Rabbit Meat] and ate.
Now that I was full I decided to delay checking my inventory. I decided to check my surroundings before I start walking around and exploring the places.
After rummaging through the place this was my result.
*DING*
After spending all this time rummaging through the entire place I'm now back with the entire loot back in the main room. And I got few useful skills with it though.
*DING*
The conclusion I come to after finding variety of bones and skulls. Fortunately there seem to be no danger lurking around so I was able to relax. But I decided to keep my [Detect Presence] active just in case. Also it seems the water is heated using [Fire Spirit Stone].
After all this exploring more than half a day passed and I was hungry again but this time before I started I went outside to collect some fallen branches and dry leafs so I could start a fire.
Coming back was a breeze with the help of my [Mental Mapping]. Unfortunately my [Detect Presence] picked up something moving around the entrance of my hideout. Getting closer to the entrance but there is no one there. But the presence still lingers.
If you stumble upon this narrative on Amazon, be aware that it has been stolen from Royal Road. Please report it.
While being aware of the presence I went on but remained vigilant. I'm still young and it’s only my 4th day in this world. Thats why there is no place for error after I just left the lizardman clan.
After coming back I quickly made a small circle and then formed a campfire using [Fire Spirit Stone]. After that I pulled out [Badger Meat] mounted on a sharp stick and put it over fire. While I did that the presence got closer and it really started ringing an alarm in my head. A sudden chill ran down my spine.
*DING*
Once I got this notification I suddenly sensed something getting close to me. 2 estocs lying by my side where in my hands that same moment and I was taking guard. The sudden danger and panic, that all I can do is sense it with my sharpened senses without seeing it, made me completely forget my magic skills. I took guard in the direction where presence was coming from and I noticed black snake sliding towards me.
Sala: "[Monster Observation]" I softly spoke.
Seeing a Night Viper so close to me scared me so badly that it made me jump back and at excellent timing. I avoided the incoming poisonous fangs and went in for counter attack. And that was biggest mistake I ever made. Allowing it to sink its fangs in to my wrist. After that I instinctively released [Lightning Clad], killing it. Unfortunately for me the Night Viper's fangs pierced my wrist injecting poison in to my system.
Immediately feeling effect of [Empowered Poison] I collapsed where I stood. Feeling an excruciating burning sensation coursing through my veins, my consciousness slipped to a dark void. Just to be brought back by the same burning sensation. Wave after wave in an endless loop.
Suffering excruciating pain I was getting weaker and weaker. Thanks to my [Plant Identification] I was able to crawl to some plans that I was able to identify yesterday and ate them raw. In my delirious state I was clinging to the shreds of my slipping consciousness. Losing all hope.

Ones again big thanks to Zeratul for proofreading this chapter.
Now that I have proofreader I will start writing again and most likely I will get rid of diary setting at some point.
