While the surgery is still fresh, they had the 'opportunity' to learn from the techs and researchers in a classroom environment.

From the info i got from the pad, the schedule goes like this. Surgery, classroom learning, first trials, VR training, real world training, field testing. It felt like alot, but she was just an infantryman, so what did I know?

Our first class lasted 4 hours, then an hour off, then 3 hours back in the classroom. Then, it was PT because there were physical requirements to stay involved with the program.

The first class of the day was basically hard numbers on the MK9. Basically, it's everything that could be even remotely relevant. The second is less hard data, but more like probable expectations in the MK9. Like what to expect and such. That one is a favorite simply because it's funny to watch the 2 green lieutenants (there was another one, to my great joy) ask very basic questions that they already have the answers to. A guilty pleasure, admittedly.

Our little group though, organized group PT. This was a plan from the senior NCO's and me to keep our group in good physical condition. Noone fought back when the idea was pitched, of course, so everything is going smooth.

We were all split into groups. Specifically A, B, and C. We, being the last group to arive, were C, of course. Each group has 15 people, and we were graded individually based on our aptitude and test scores, because yes, there are tests.

The incentive to the group thing is that whichever group has the best scores by the end of training, would get a 10% pay increase on each rank earned. Which is nice, I'll admit.

So we, group C that is, pooled ourselves to assist our weakest members in the research areas of scoring (there was only one, surprisingly), and for the physical, well, that can be sorted out with proper motivational techniques. Heh.

But, for now, I was waiting to use an actual mech. Because... well, they're fuckin cool. What else needs to be said?
