It was only an hour til dawn arrived and everyone was still on high alert, waiting to see what else the orb would do. Boreal and Mitra were woken up and taken here to see if they could change anything but much to the surprise of the researchers, it did nothing. In the previous hours waiting, they spent reviewing the recordings they had from all the cameras and sensors they had spread out around the area. They also asked the fused clones to grab a camera to check on the Corruption. The camera’s connection was more unstable than it was in previous days but it still sent a low quality video out to the researchers who could see that the field containing the Corruption was still standing strong. That was the main thing they wanted to see, but another thing they noticed was that the walls were glowing in a way that only some of the researchers could see. The amalgam came back out and was immediately given a better camera that had a wire connecting it to a nearby computer. When they got the new footage, they could all see the glow. It was kinda dim, but it was unmistakenly there. They asked for the extra sensors to be activated and the readings from it baffled them. There was noticeable spatial deformation, and possibly the start of another rift or perhaps even a tear.

Due to this, more staff from the Elder’s facility came over to help with the situation. They tried to see if people were able to get into the room now, but they were still repelled by the mental pressure the contained Corruption was releasing. Guards from the facility were setting up shield generators around Vegis and the house, but only activated them after the Elder gave them the word. Seconds after the shields were raised, the sun started to rise and the ball holding Vegis collapsed into a single point until it exploded, sending large chunks of earth and ice into the shields and demolishing the house. The clones were trapped in the plant room since the house collapsed into the basement, sealing the entrance of the room. Another blast sent the amalgam down the staircase and into the room, where they could feel themselves being pushed, pulled, and stretched in ways they could not properly explain. They tried to move, but it was like the air was made of molten steel. It was heavy and every movement made them feel like they were being burned alive. They continued to struggle and managed to get near the Corruption, where they saw it was slowly collapsing into a black hole before imploding and ripping space apart. This blast sent the clone mass into the wall and broke most of their bones. Waves of energy were being released and increased the severity of the spatial anomaly of the room, causing it to expand without expanding. The space was stretched, but the room didn’t grow, and their body was ejected out of the room by being shot up and breaching the ceiling and ground.

Before the clones were forced to the surface, Vegis’s form was scattered into dust all around the area in the contained area that was slowly consuming everything and absorbing energy from the shields. When the clones reached the surface, Vegis’s dust rushed down the hole and flooded the room. The dust vaguely formed a human shape and dragged the Tear out from the underground. The mana flooding out was affected by the light of dawn and condensing around the flood of dust, slowly compressing them into three things. A human form, armor designed in the shape of the wolf, and a white staff made of what seems to be bone.
