EXTRA 6: A dive in power system( magic)

Mana is the ultimate source of all magic seen in the series, and it is also the star of today's extra.

Mana is like an invisible particle of energy. It is everywhere, but remains invisible to the naked eye, sometimes even to those with specialized sight.

All the different kinds of magic are achieved by manipulating mana around the body, inside the body, or even from other objects.

Mana is divided into four kinds. These four kinds of mana give birth to different types of magic. People use it differently based on their capabilities.

Inner Mana: The body holds mana itself, and it circulates through mana circuits within the body. By learning to use it, a person reaches a stage where they can interact with this mana and use it to perform magic and interact with the magical world. Learning this is the first step.

Outer Mana: As the name suggests, this is the mana that exists outside the body. It is filled with many attributes and variables, and is very unstable. People create formulas to stabilize this instability and achieve a desired result, which is called a spell.

A fun fact: since these spells interact with and stabilize outer mana, a normal human can also use them. It does not matter if they know magic or not, as long as they have the physical formula of the spell.

Normally, people use inner mana to interact with and form a formula they have memorized to cast a spell, which is better. However, if a spell is too hard to memorize or too powerful for oneself, it can be converted to a physical spell on paper, parchment, etc.

Now that you know about the two major types of mana, let me tell you about the types of magic they create and what they are.

Tier Circle Magic: This is a system created by different magic towers working together. Different variations exist, but most of their essence remains the same. For example, "4th Circle Green Pillar."

Different spells are divided into different tiers based on how hard they are to memorize, how dangerous they are, and what their influence is in the real world.

This story has been unlawfully obtained without the author's consent. Report any appearances on Amazon.

The highest tier is the 15th Circle. Different towers have rights over different spells, which they only give to their own tower members, but leaks do happen and spread.

There are also many open-source spells. However, without certain influence, it is very hard to progress this way.

Also, those who walk this path end up not having any uniqueness of their own.

Some very great and powerful minds create their own spells and sometimes personal tier systems.

Speech is necessary for this, as all spells interact with outer mana and need a trigger. Those who cannot speak rely on a different trigger, but a trigger is always needed.

Specialized Magic: Remember the uniqueness I mentioned earlier? This is it. It is when someone has synergy and harmony with a certain attribute of the world, like fire, ice, earth, etc. It can even be force manipulation.

When that happens, mana can be used to perform magic related to that attribute. The user can then perform what you may call true magic in all essence, and they develop their own techniques or different applications of that magic.

They do not need to chant or use a trigger; their thought is sufficient. Their descendants sometimes, by nature, possess the capability to use it from the start.

Caution: Magic, in essence, is mana manipulation to get what the user wants. Because of this, it cannot be classified in black and white. It depends on the user's and creator's intent. Sometimes, like a math formula, it can be wrong. If a magic formula is wrong, it means you will get a negative result or sometimes things like an unwanted harmful result or corruption.

  Another Note:

Note that those who are truly smart or powerful never limit themselves. They normally possess all.

You see most men in the series use fire spells. The reason is simple: it is mostly because fire magic is pretty simple and very widespread, even though they might not know the proper way to use magic.

But hey, I said there are four types of mana. I only explained two. Why? Because these two are what govern most of the power of the world. The other two are way out of the hands of ordinary people.

So they will make a proper entrance in future chapters. Until then, here’s a brief introduction.

The Primal Current: This mana is a specific type possessed by those who are very near to nature, instinct, primal desire and behavior. This includes elves, beastkin, demons, monsters, and special entities. It is something which gives them a uniqueness related to their race. This could be anything: a specific form, a power, or any other distinct trait.

Ethereal Mana: This is something worldly. Those who operate at this level can be said to be gods, without possessing divinity.

Let me know if you want a similar deep dive for aura, abilities, or divinity.
