“Hmmm…” I thought, “That was kind of a fun story!…” and then I began reading the second short story that was in the book, and this is how that short story went:

  “A giraffe named Raffle looked down at all of the shorter creatures who were around him, and he wondered if there were any creatures in existence who were taller than he and his fellow giraffes were!…

  And so then he turned to his wife who was named Gertrude, and then he said, “Hello, my love!…” and then Gertrude said, “Hello!, dear!…

  You seemed like you were lost in thought a second ago…

  Were you pondering the mysteries of the multiverse?…” and then Raffle chuckled and said, “Kind of!, I suppose…

  See, I was just wondering if we giraffes are the tallest creatures in existence or whether there are creatures who are taller than us!…” and then Gertrude said, “Well, I was always told by one of my teachers that there’s a person called Bigfoot who’s even taller than we are!…” and then Raffle said, “Interesting…

  And so where does this Bigfoot person live?…” and then Gertrude said, “According to my teacher, Bigfoot lives in those woods over to the east of here; though I don’t really have any proof that Bigfoot exists, and I don’t remember my teacher having ever provided me with any proof either…; and so I think that Bigfoot might be a myth…” and then a nearby eagle named Glee said, “Neverfear, friends!…

  For I can head over to those woods and see if I can confirm whether this Bigfoot person exists or not!…” and then Glee flew off towards the woods where Gertrude’s teacher had said that Bigfoot was living at!…; and then before long Glee had spotted a creature who was taller than the giraffes were, and so then Glee went up to the creature and said, “Hello!…

  I’m Glee!…” and then the creature said, “Howdy!…

  It’s nice to meet you, Glee!; and I’m Bigfoot!…” and then Glee said, “Nice!…

  It’s very good to meet you too, Bigfoot!; and, believe it or not, I actually flew over to these woods to search for you!…” and then Bigfoot said, “That’s awesome!…

  And so that means that a congrats! is in order because you successfully found me!…

  And so why were you searching for me, anyway?…” and then Glee said, “Thanks for the congrats!…; and some giraffe friends of mine were wondering whether you exist or not, because they’d heard that you were taller than they were, and so now it’s been officially confirmed that you exist and that you’re taller than giraffes are!…” and then Bigfoot said, “Nice!…

  But now you’ve got me wondering whether there are any creatures who are taller than I am!, lol…; though I suppose that perhaps I’ll never know the answer to that question…” and then Glee said, “That’s a mystery, for sure!…

  And maybe if I can find the teacher who knew about your existence then I can find out whether the teacher knows of any creatures who are taller than you are!…; and so that means that I’ll be flying off to find that teacher now!; and so farewell!, and I’ll be sure to come back and let you know if I find out about any creatures who are taller than you are!…” and then Bigfoot said, “Sounds good!; and farewell to you too!…” and then Glee flew off to go and find the teacher, and then Bigfoot began chuckling, and then she said, “Hehehe…

  Glee sure fell for that one pretty easily!…” and then Bigfoot took off the costume that she was wearing, and it turned out that she was actually a giraffe!…

  And, she wasn’t just any giraffe either!; because she was the teacher giraffe who had originally told Gertrude that Bigfoot exists!…

  But now, of course, she wanted to get back to where Glee and the others were, so that Glee would be able to find her and ask her whether there were any creatures who were taller than Bigfoot; and so then she travelled over to her home, and then when she got to her home she saw that Glee was there; and then Glee said, “Hello, Ginger!…” and then Ginger said, “Hey, Glee!…

  It’s good to see you!…” and then Glee said, “Thanks!…

  And it’s good to see you too!…

  And I was just wondering if you happen to know about any creatures who are taller than Bigfoot; because I just got done talking with Bigfoot not too long ago, and I told Bigfoot that I’d ask you about whether Bigfoot is the tallest creature in existence or not…” and then Ginger said, “Oh yes, there is indeed a creature who is taller than Bigfoot, and that creature is the mighty tyrannosaurus rex!…; though I don’t happen to know where you might be able to find a tyrannosaurus rex, unfortunately…” and then Glee said, “Thanks for the information!…

  And so I guess that now I’ll head back over to where Bigfoot is so that I can let Bigfoot know about the mighty tyrannosaurus rex!…

  Farewell!…” and then Ginger said, “Sounds good!; and farewell to you too!…” and then Glee flew away, and then Ginger headed back over to the part of the woods where the Bigfoot costume was; and then she put the Bigfoot costume back on, and then she walked around in it until Glee found her and said, “Hello, Bigfoot!…

  I come with some pretty big news!, because it turns out that there is a creature who is taller than you are; and that creature is the mighty tyrannosaurus rex!…” and then Ginger said, “Whoa!…

  And do you know where a tyrannosaurus rex might happen to be?…” and then Glee said, “Nope!…

  But I’m gonna spread the word about this tyrannosaurus rex creature to a bunch of my fellow birds, and then if any of them ever spot a creature who’s taller than you are then presumably they will have spotted a tyrannosaurus rex!; and so if my fellow birds and I ever find a tyrannosaurus rex then I’ll be sure to return to these woods so that I can let you know that we found a tyrannosaurus rex!…” and then Ginger said, “Wonderful!…

  And so that means that I’ll be hoping that y’all will manage to find a tyrannosaurus rex!, and it’ll be great to see you again whenever you might happen to visit these woods again!…” and then Glee said, “And it’ll be good to see you again too, Bigfoot!…; and so farewell for now, and hopefully we’ll meet again soon!…” and then Ginger said, “Farewell, my friend!…” and then Glee flew away from the woods; and then Ginger once again took off the Bigfoot costume; and then as Ginger headed back to her abode she celebrated that her little plan to try n’ get a bunch of birds to search for a tyrannosaurus rex had worked!; because she was very curious about whether Glee and the other birds would actually manage to find a tyrannosaurus rex or not, and she was confident that if Glee and the other birds actually did find a tyrannosaurus rex and tell her about it then that information would make her so happy that she’d be able to live happily ever after!…
