Geomancy and the Divine

"alright come inside, let me clear off a table—" the spider said leading me inside, large rectangular tables with let's say gruesome displays of Anastasia's experiments.

"Its alright, I can make a new one" I said and with a wave of my hand I summoned a new one of stone. I felt a little giddy, there was just something about using magic for random shit that tickled a part of my mind.

"Oh, okay, well that works" Anastasia responded as she crawled up the table.

Creating a chair I sat down, when I caught the eye of something familiar. Hanging on hooks like it was in a butchers shop, was the leader of the Yeti. I his dead eyes and red face laced with pale yellow veins. I shifted away from it as I felt a crawling feeling on my neck.

"Alright what happened while I was gone? I cant presume much but" I asked slightly worried that she was going to give me some terrible news.

"Not much really, the Giants have such a help training the basic puppets with higher logic cores how to instruct the other regular puppets to build and fortify.

"You improve your logic cores while I was zonked out?" I asked curiously, wondering how the intelligence of the puppets as whole were improving.

"Yep, the Elderessa was help to, she helped me get rid of a few lines of inefficiency even though it wasn't here expertise, the puppets now have the very limited ability to memorize and articulate instructions, although the really high level intelligence cores drain too much mana for anything but regular puppets to have them." Anastasia explained excitedly, as she pulled out a two totems, the more complex one was the one I assumed was if higher intelligence.

"Sounds great Anastasia just please don't make them revolt again us" I asked her jokingly as they needed Anastasia in order to make more.

"Yeah, yeah, some day I've got to watch those robot rebellion movies that you keep on mentioning." Anastasia responded.

"Well there's this one about humanity driven to brink of Extinction by androids they created..." I reminisced.

"Sounds interesting though I fear I'm missing a lot technical background that you Earthlings got." Anastasia replied probably to stop my yapping, which was valid.

"Okay, well let me fill you in..." I told her about me unlocking my Cosmic Origin of Palingenesis and the bright blue flames, and the dreams of my other selves.

"A girl! Was she hot?" Anastasia said laughing as she said it, probably teasing me.

"Har-har, I think my other self was a little to busy trying not to freak out" I said as when I dreamed of Paradox I could feel echoes of the other me's emotions, which mainly consisted of confusion and fear. Noble though was almost always sleeping which was weird, but who knows maybe the divine plain was like super boring?

"Okay, sure buddy, but anyways the Cosmic Origin stuff is pretty cool, you are definitely going to be a force to be reckoned with when you get back to Earth." She said, and the well intended comment struck home. I had a little less then a year until I get home.

"Let's hope." Was all I could say as I collected myself.

"Alright I'm setting a date, seven days from now we will have to leave, I will you that time to forge and practice with the Elderessa. You use that time to make as many elite puppets as possible, the next level should be the villains of fifty percent of conspiracy theories, snake people." I said, and although Anastasia lacked the context to get lack part I said it anyways. Cause sometimes you gotta tell jokes to make yourself laugh too.

The story has been taken without consent; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident.

"Hmm, not going to run off to commit genocide again are you" The Elderessa stated looking down at me.

"Nope not on the calendar, we've got a week, before the whole fight to the death ordeal" I said as I smiled cheekily at the elder giantess.

"Okay so I've been reviewing what I know of your current abilities and I have a few ideas, although you have taken your [Geomancy] in a different directions then me or my Forefathers, so bear with me" the Elderessa stated as she she took out a freakin' scroll.

"Ah yes let's see... Here we go, so I noticed you have been using energy from the plain of paradox to make earth act as water, Yes?" the Elderessa asked me for confirmation.

"Pretty much, yeah, it's a bit more technical then that" I said thinking about how I technically had to 'exchange' energy from Mana to Weird-Eyes's Eldritch comprehension energy.

"Hmm have you been thought of making the earth take on a different form, instead of initial forms or water-like, how about the air?" The Elderessa asked. Wouldn't 'earth gas' just be dust? Wait, no a gas is where each atom is separate from the rest, so if I could I would get really heavy fog like substance that could slow down enemies giving me some great crowd control or straight up killing weaker enemies.

"Hmm, that could be deadly, but I don't know if it would be cost effective right now" I said and I reached out to connection between me and Paradox and then to the earth. I sifted through the paradox energies manually, I felt like a gold prospector trying to find nuggets of the paradox of "rock-gas" I didn't know the actual name of the paradox but it would have to work. Once I judged I had enough I channeled it into my [Geomancy] and the if felt sluggish as I tried to form the unnatural state.

The earth at my feet swirled around me sluggishly like an insanely thick fog, one that would have stopped a normal pre-intergration bear from moving any faster then a crawl. The Mana drain became less intense after enough formed. Pushing the fog like substance around I had ideas popping into my head as I saw the swirling mass of paradoxical matter.

  Skill Upgrade!

Your Skill [Advanced Geomancy] has Evolved into a Rare Variant Skill! Level Not Maintained

  -[High-planar Geomancy] Lvl: 1

  Epic Variant Skill

You have mixed the art of Geomancy with energies from two different Higher Planes, The Divine Plains and Paradox. You can now use higher planer energies at a reduced cost.

  Variance One:

Properties of Paradox, you can imbue complex and conflicting ideas and make them reality through Earth. Right now you have learned to turn earth and stone into states of Existence that are very rarely naturally found.

  Variance Two:

Properties of the Divine, you can imbue the domains of Daemon Kien Noble of Protection and The Depths into your earth work without using Divinity Directly, though this incurs a massive Mana cost. When you imbue the Domain of protection the item imbued becomes more durable and can be used to make stronger armor and shields. When you imbue the Depths the Earth becomes immune to outside influences and you can now summon minor elements of earth.

Fuck Yes! Finally the stubborn skill changed!!! The Elderessa smiled as she saw me shake my fists in happiness no doubt looking like a mad man.

"You levels your skill?" The Elderessa asked me.

"No, I upgraded it!" I said prancing around as the giddy feeling filled me.

"Yes, repetition improves consistency and can lead to skill upgrades but true growth comes through learning and discovering new depths" the Elderessa stated sagely.

"Yeah, yin and yang and old people jazz" I said waving her off as I played with the rock gas, shifting it between liquid and gas. Something that would have given my physics teacher a heart attack.

"Hmph, you should respect your elders welp" the Elderessa stated but her lip tipped up into the smirk old give when their messing around.

"Alright got any more ideas in that head of yours?" I asked her and she reopened her scroll.

Divine Plains, Domain of Noble 19 Acres

  Noble's P.O.V.

  ...

The other me's were so interesting! They had done so much... Thinking back I was in the middle of a deep cave system filled to the brim with random things, walls, shields and barricades. My domain was a complete mess, however moving on the Divine Plain, even my own Domain took so much energy...

All I did was administration for the 'worship' which was awkward but I had gotten used to it. My fellow Earthlings didn't really give a whole lot of care when they prayed so it wasn't to bad. However the slowly growing number of non-earth people where a bit odd. Mostly species who live underground which was kinda cool. A lot of records and knowledge had apparently trickled down to earth, sort of a prep packet from the universe to new worlds so they had a general idea of some of the larger species.

Our total worship count was at 5,786, and I had set up a separate 'bank account' for Eldritch and Kien Incase they needed Divinity but from the looks of it they hadn't needed it yet.

Then I felt something intrude on my domain, a wild divine beast a strange alien tiger creature that I was going to have to kill. Speaking of Divine Beasts, Anastasia's Divine side hadn't woken up yet, but she wasn't to far away. Which would be nice, ya know not literally taking to me, myself, and I all the time.
