I felt intense pain but I had suffered worse even as my chest felt tight and every breath was pain. My enemy tough was not so fortunate, my sword of sliver cleaved through his heart, he bled yellowish gold unlike his brethren, the golden droplets fell down as the life fell from their owners eyes.

[Tutorial Boss]
My blue flames fell way, and the oppressive arrogance died down as well. Looking down and I saw the areas where I was stabbed and saw blood flowing out.
I also saw skin slowly pulling it self back to together into new scab tissue. I saw far off that the Mage champion with the Web Weaver where erecting a way down and it was not to bad of job. If I had any more than a single point of Mana I might have been able to help. They eventually made their way completely down and I felt hands pulling me up and taking me up. I don't remember exactly the whole journey as I was out like a light. It wasn't the toughest battle, although had the Yeti Warrior been more cool headed and had more time to practice that strange yellow energy the battle might've harder. I had been holding even then, after all I did have the new Trait that allowed me to call Eldritch to my side.

In the Realm of Paradox, Eldritch's P.O.V
...
I awoke in the inn, sleeping in Paradox was dreamless. Just unconsciousness until I awoke again. Looking out the window, I saw the fog that draped over the whole uncanny city of madness, the sun was obscured though its light filtered down through the fog.
I needed a plan, and I needed to set my sights on a paradox to connect with. Something that wouldn't beholden me to another Entity but was powerful. Towering Depths seemed interesting, Mournful Conquest sounded powerful but depressing. I figured I need a contradictory phrase, something that held a wide berth of interpretation. Kien and Noble for that matter had their things tied up already, Kien recently unlocked his Cosmic Origin of Palingenesis, Noble had his Domains of Protection and the Depths and was the most powerful although he didn't have enough power to interact with the Divine Plains all to much.
*Knock*Knock* a knock came upon the door and I assumed it was Drunk, the Inn keeper.
"Yes?" I asked rasing my voice enough to be heard.
"Eldritch, there's some of the Honorable Tyrant's men have come to ehh, question you" Drunk said nervously. I figured he was asking me to come out in order to protect his Inn from damage. Besides I was only a part of a whole, if I 'died' I would just come back after while thanks to Kien and Noble.
"Alright I'm comin' out don't you worry" I said as I gathered my thoughts as I lacked possessions to do so with.
"Please make it quick, they look rather antsy" the Barkeep stated his normal voice and tone had strange irregular beat to it.
Opening the door I saw the Skeletal Barkeep appear more relieved. Behind him where two very different figures, one was a standard humanoid figure with a chest plate emblazoned with a hand grasping a sun. His other features was that of mix of human and bat, stunted snout long almond shaped eyes, and large bat ears. His limbs were thin and lanky, his partner was an a mass of corrugated blades making a vaugely human shaped figure but he only had three.
"We are guards in service of The Honorable Tyrant and Lord of the Sunlit Night, can you please confirm that you have not bonded with a paradox?" The Bat like Guard stated his posture was domineering.
"Uhh, Yes?" I replied though I was certainly caught off guard.
"It's True" the other Blade made guard stated leaning into partners ears.

"Hmm, then his Lordship would have an offer to you, he will grant you resources of the Arcanum and will train you somewhat personally, in exchange you will serve a total of five conflicts outline by an official declaration of war to an official treaty." The Bat-Guard stated slowly.
"Might be a dumb question but what is the Arcanum" I asked and the Guards didn't seem surprised about the question.
"The Arcanum is the Library of Memories held personally by his Lordship to view such a collection will massively help in your growth" The Blade guard explained this time.
"Okay, I won't agree until I see a full contract or the local equivalent but I will go to see The Honorable Tyrant or one of his assistants" I stated slowly making sure not to unknowingly anger them.
"Good, don't accept anything without clear words, this may be Paradox but we still have a rule of law" the Bat-Guard stated.
"Okay well I've got my possessions on me so im ready to go, but I can wait if he requires an appointment" I stated simply years of proper address to officials from my Park Ranger Dad made it a habit.
"He's ready right now, someone without a bonded affinity and a fully formed ego and knowledge from the Mortal plains is always valuable." the Blade-Headed Guard Stated.
With the two guards guiding me through the ever shifting fog ridden streets. We passed through a large bannaza with merchants of all shapes and sizes. Some of their wares where vaugely familiar but all of them where foreign.
We passed several guards each one bearing a symbol of Fist clutching the sun. However that was until we passed a private residence with two guards each one bearing a symbol of Infinity symbol with line through it.
"Why do they have different uniforms?" I asked out of Curiosity.
"Bannermen of the Infinitum house, no doubt the residence of visiting diplomats" the Guard waved it off.
"Wait their are Families here?" I asked as no two Entities were truly alike, especially not enough to be siblings and the parents.
"Yes, although children are the business of the powerful Entities, any two sufficiently powerful Entities can have children, its most common with Entity Pairs of one male ego and one female ego, why I don't know" the Guard explained and it explained why somewhat. Only the powerful Entities had kids which was unique to say the least.
Then I saw it as we came up a hill, high above the city bathed in golden light was fortress of black stone inlayed with images of brutality and benevolence though the two were clearly at odd.
"His Lordship is a Tyrant to his enemies, and honorable to his people, think of which one you wish to be" the Bat-Guard stated with air of mystery.
We went down the slope of the hill just to ascend again to the walls of the Fortress.
"Decreed yourselves" a guard at the gate stated though his bored voice and slouched posture leaned towards it being a formality.
"Wingless Bat and Sentient Blades under orders to escort a apprentice-prospect to the lordship." The Wingless Bat stated giving a title of address, though from its lack actual contradiction it was clearly a blatant Pseudonym.
"Alright in, and good luck to ya, Apprentice-prospect" the Gate Guard stated.
From their the hallways where all neat and organized unlike the lords domain. Then we sharply turned and began to move towards a large door. We entered an their sitting was a being that had near human like appearance. I say near because the figure was too perfect, large build strong jaw, the A-star actor starter kit. The inhuman parts that mainly being the twin black holes instead of eyes, and the ethereal pale skin.
"Hmm, a soul stretched across three plains, one in the Divine, one here, and one amgost the mortals, I have seen precisely fifteen off your kind in my infinite life" the Figure spoke pragmatically and powerfully.
"Uh, ah, Hello—, I go by Eldritch until I can lock in a Paradox" I said as reached out my hands, his eyes where unsettling in their immense intensity.
"Well Eldritch Sit" the Honorable Tyrant stated as shaked my hand his skin was cold but the air around it was burning hot. Releasing his hand I sat down.
"I am going to tell you what I offer, why I offer it, and what I expect in turn" The Lord stated with confidence.
"Okay, as long as I see it as in my favor I will accept" I stated back getting some of my back bone back.
"Oh? And what makes you think you have any power, any leverage aside from the extension of my goodwill and mercy?" The Tyrant stated raising an eyebrow.
"The fact that I can't truly die here" I stated simply forcing myself not to stutter in front of the powerful being.
"Hmm, that is true very well, here's a little background since you are uninitiated, my daughter has come to full ego, and hence needs a strong force behind her to carve her name into the realms, and so I am expending great effort to obtain her said Force, if you prove capable you will be allowed to be apart of said task force, I will train you periodically and grant my immense wisdom, alongside the use of my Arcanum, you will serve in Five campaigns, from the declaration to the Treaty no matter what, you will also participate in team training with my daughter and the other prospects." The Lord laid out his deal.
