  Over the last 3 days more and more family members have arrived and more than half have found their mates. We are waiting for the Mermaid twins family to arrive. The twins are apprehensive about any of their family showing. I told them I would give them 2 more days and if they didn't show them they were more than welcome to join our pack. Dr King, Fairy Pryce, Witch Elarion and a few Lycans and Feline Shifters have already had their induction ceremony into the pack. Mom and D are working with Natalie on the decorations and designs for her and Dr King's Mating Ceremony. She has insisted on Cat designing her wedding dress and her reception dress. Some of the others are still considering our invitation to join our pack.

  Thanks to the surveillance spells. We have found out that some family members were certainly involved with their kidnappings because they found their mates and they were a different species.

  Family members actually decided to separate them by staging a kidnapping. They also received a handsome amount of money for their sons and daughters, nieces,nephews and friends

  After showing the evidence to the victims of their families' schemes against them . We threw them in the dungeon. The victims will decide their family members' fate. I wonder if these people knew what all would happen to their family when they took that dirty money. We will find out during their trials because they will not be able to lie in the court room, thanks to all the witches and warlocks.

  I was in deep thought about the Mermaid twins family, wondering if they would show when Tanchi knocked on my office door. Come in Son, I said. He walked in with his head hung down like he was in trouble and took a seat in front of me. I asked him what was troubling him and he told me, he found his mate but didn't think she wanted him. I asked him who it was and he told me it was Xenia from the Iron Moon Pack. I asked him why he thought she didn't want him as a mate. He told me he tried to talk to her but she just turned away from him and refused to say a word to him or even look at him. I called the only person who might understand the issue to my office. Sophie-Ann walked in and when she saw how sad Tan was she hugged him. I told them to take as long as they needed to talk. I was going to the clinic to sit with Maurice. When I got to the clinic I overheard a conversation I wasn't meant to hear. I couldn't help myself from hiding around the corner eavesdropping. I made sure they didn't catch my scent. Xenia was talking to Anne about Tanchi being her mate and how she felt she wasn't good enough for him because she had been violated in so many ways and felt no man would want what her pack called filthy woman. I heard Ann tell her that Tanchi isn't that type of person to hold what had happened to her over her head. He knew it wasn't her fault and she was traumatized by what she had been through. She told Xenia that if she really wants to try with Tanchi she recommended that they go to counseling and get to know each other better. I finally stepped from my hiding spot and walked past the door. It was open and I just waved and was walking away when a voice called out to me. Alpha, you are Tanchi’s father are you not. It was Xenia, I told her I was indeed his Dad and how it came that Dianna and I adopted him and how my parents had adopted Ashura, Nome and Thoran. I also told her about Wayne and Sophie-Ann, Eric, Lexie and Wren. She looks at me with shock and horror when I tell her about the children being experimented on and how they were injected with shifted DNA. I asked her if she had any contact with Brenton. She tells me that Brenton never did anything to hurt anyone; he actually tried to help when he could. He would bring extra food and clean water and when it was his time to clean the cells he snuck in clean clothes, soap, and made sure the water was comfortable to bathe. He wasn't like the others who just hosed them off with freezing cold water. I was happy to hear Brenton wasn't involved in the violent crimes. She goes on and asks me if I thought Tanchi would be open to going to counseling with her. I smiled a real smile and told her she would have to ask him herself. She smiled back and asked if I would link him and ask if he would come see her. I did and I told her he was on his way. She asked if Anne would give them a little privacy but stay outside the door. Anne agreed and I walked to Monk's room. Dad and Uncle Mircea were looking like they haven't slept in months. I told them to go eat and grab a bag of blood from the donor room and be sure Geneva gets some too. They nod and leave. I sit by my oldest son's bed holding his hand. Even though he will soon be 32. I tell him stories like I did when he was a baby. I tell him how proud I am of the man he has become and how brave he was when he rescued 47 people and I told him all their names and how each one was healing and how some families have arrived to see them and how Dr. King and Natalie are mates and having their ceremony soon and how we have some new pack members. I tell him that Tanchi has found his mate. I was in the middle of telling him about Geneva freezing Vlad to the wall when a lady walked in. She was tall but very thin. She apologized for barging in but she said she couldn't help but follow the most intoxicating smell she ever smelt in her life. She said it's a cross between strawberries, chocolate, and fresh cut cedar. She looks at Maurice sleeping with wires hooked up all over his body. She asks me if she can hold his hand. I stand giving her my chair. She begins talking to him. Hello my dear mate, you don't know me but my name is Velma. I don't know how you feel about having a Reptilian Shifter as a mate but I'm a Blue Tongue Skink. Her voice was soft and soothing, almost trance-like. You damaged yourself when you saved us didn't you? You took the blood of your family also, hoping that would wake you. You will be alright now. I am here with you now. You will wake up in the next hour. She looks at me and says. Alpha you and your family don't have to worry about Maurice turning into a Ripper. I have absorbed all the poison in his body. I just need a host to transfer it too. I told her I had the perfect person in mind. She asked if I could have the person brought to her because she didn't want to leave Maurice. I asked Hynes, Ashura, Thoran and Nick to fetch Ervin and bring him to Monk's room. On it! That was their only reply.

  I told Velma about Ervin's crimes against children and gave her the run down of what happened with Wayne, Sophie, Eric, Lexie and Wren and we even discussed Brenton. She tells me she remembers Brenton and how every time he was made to use violence he would always whisper and apologize. She said that Brenton learned how to fake cutting and stabbing them with weapons, sure we bled, but not like we did with others. He was able to make wounds look more deep and severe than they really were. We just slowed our healing and he would also fake rape them. He was able to make that look more brutal but he never touched them.

  When Ervin was brought in Velma looked at him and aske. Where is your wife, dear ol' dad? Befor Ervin could answer. I told her she was in the dungeon as well. She asked if I could have her brought in too. I linked Nome, Mom, D, and Geneva to bring Martha in. Geneva answers and says Mommy, Aunt Nome and Lolly are busy with Deborah. That she will bring Martha to me by herself. I don't like the idea of her going alone and I tell her if she needs help to get Dorian to help her. She says I can do it Daddy and I drop the conversation with Thank You Baby Girl.

  I tell Velma that my youngest daughter is bringing Martha in. Ervin laughs and says you sent a 5 year old to bring Martha. Alpha I thought you were smarter than that. Martha will kill your daughter for even trying to put a finger on hr. He keeps laughing until he sees his wife. She's hovering not far from the ground. Her hands are behind her back, she's stiff like a statue.

  Geneva looks at me and says I may have to have more practice. I made her hit a few walls when I was levitating her here. I hugged her and told her that she did a good job and Martha hitting a few walls didn't matter and she can unfreeze her now. She does and I give her a hug and thank her for her hard work. I asked if she had eaten, she nodded and said Killian fed her and so did Pop Pop, she's extra energized now. I gave her another hug and kissed her head and told her to go play and burn off some of her extra energy. She laughs and runs out but not before she gave Monk a kiss on his cheek and said she loved him. Velma didn't ask questions about Geneva. It was like she knew already.

  She turned her gaze to Ervin and Martha. and said “so you do remember me”. Ervin and Martha stared wide eyed in shock. Velma continued “You raised me and sold me off like I was just some yard sale lamp that no one wanted. “You never loved your own children, all we were to you was your slaves, punching bags and finally a pay day”. How much did you sell me for huh”? “You know it doesn't matter anymore. You both will die for your evil deeds soon enough”. Then she touched them.

  They collapsed instantly. Not dead just knocked out cold. Velma asked me if I could have them both returned to the cell. She told me she would be happy to testify at their trial and would be happy to personally kill them once she finds out what they did with her sister Jody. I told her she could do what she likes with them. She smiles but this smile was so evil looking that I prayed I never got on her bad side.

  All of a sudden Maurice moves. It had been exactly one hour just like Velma said it would be. She handed Monk a glass of fresh water, and he let out a gravely thank you to her. He drank more water and cleared his throat. He looked at Velma and said he didn't mind that she was a Reptilian Shifter. She was his mate and he is looking forward to getting to know her. I told them I would give them some privacy as long as possible. Maurice laughed and asked if I would ask his Mom to cook his favorite meal for 2. He looked at Velma and asked I hope you like BBQ . She told him that is her favorite. I walk out chuckling to myself. 2 of my sons have found their mates today.

  I walked in the house and called everyone in the living room. I open a link with Maurice so he can hear what is being said and answer when and if he needs to. I start by having everyone sit and although I hated it I used my Alpha command to make sure no one jumped up and started running to the clinic. I tell them important things have happened today involving the children. I start with Geneva levitating a statue Martha to the clinic by herself. Everyone's faces had a priceless expression. I'm glad I have surveillance videos. I'm going to save that picture. Then I turn to Tanchi. He stands and tells everyone he found his mate he tells everyone her name is Xenia and she is Lycan who served in the special forces. They will be going to counseling together to help her get through the trauma she has suffered. Everyone jumps up and rushes to hug him like he has just solved world hunger.

  Little does he know that this moment will be added to his wedding video. Next I tell them that Maurice is awake and aware of everything that has happened and that was said to him while he was asleep. He asked if you would cook his favorite meal D but make enough for two people. He found his mate today as well. No one moved thanks to my command. I told everyone to calmly get up and let Maurice have some time getting to know his mate. I understand he has been in a coma-like state for weeks but this is a precious time for him and he needs this moment. They all agree and go about the rest of their day. D starts prepping the ribs before she starts peeling the potatoes and the special salad dressing Monk loves. Mom is making a heart shaped chocolate strawberry cake for their dessert.

  I head back to my office and see 4 children going through the files that Maurice and Thoran found. Before I can ask them what they are doing. Vlad looks at me and says, they are looking for clues as to who Eric, Lexie and Wren shifting DNA could belong too.
