I do believe that Lawrence is fully healed from his ailment today. As the only doctor of this unit, I can indeed declare that. I am so very happy for him. He needed to get better very soon. If we went without it, we would never be able to make this trip.

"Angelo, Lawrence!" I called. They were soon beside me.

"What do you need?" Angelo asked me.

I sighed, "I want you to know that Lawrence is cleared from his ailment. I am proud."

  "What ailment?" Lawrence questioned.

I smiled, "A case of loss and grief. I am glad that you are over it. I never want to see you depressed again."

"That's nice to hear that you care. Even if it is only a little," Lawrence muttered.

"Of course we care, Lawrence. We both care about you," Angelo added.

A beat of silence passed before Lawrence told us, "I don't think I've ever had friends as good as you two. Sure, I've had friends, but I haven't had good enough ones, you know? When I get back to the States, I'm bringing you guys with me. I don't think you two want to be in your country anymore, right?"

I shook my head, "There is nothing left for me in France."
