Machines whir and groan. “Hey Newbie” a voice booms across the construction site, “What time is it?" Several machines halt, as everyone waits in suspense. After several minutes of silence, a shy voice pipes up, “T-three… t-thirty…” Dozens of cheers boom across the construction site, as machines come back to life. “This company keeps us here for way too long, can't wait for this day to be over” one lady replied, “Why does Hive Builds work us so hard?” Several people nod their heads in unison. *Hive Builds, for context, is a top tier construction company that hires anyone and everyone no matter who they are. This has led them to be the number one construction company in the country and in the top five in the world.*

  *30 minutes pass by*

  An alarm rings out across the construction site which signals the end of work. Many cheers echoed across the site. “I’ll lock the site up guys, you all go home” yelled Kimel Laple. Not long after the alarm, the whole place fell eerily silent. All that could be heard was the dangling of keys and the closing of the gate. She headed towards the site’s temporary hut and changed into her everyday clothes, which consisted of a black, fuzzy jumper and dark blue trousers. She exits the hut, “All locked up, good good.” she sighed a breath of fresh air as she turned and headed home.

  *buzz buzz* Kimel looks around all confused. Where is that coming from? There's no insects or the like around so where? She shrugs it off as her going slightly insane and proceeds to walk home. “What to eat, what to eat” she becomes lost in thought trying to decide what she wants to eat.

  *stab* “What the-” She glances down to her hand where a rash as formed. “Shoot, that's not good, since when was i-”

  *crack crack* A bright light shone down from the sky. “So bright what the heck?” Kimel slowly opened her eyes. “Where am i? What happened?” *buzz buzz*. Kimel could hear only buzzing noises. She finally stood up, wobbling a little. “Woah there” someone called out. She turned her head. Stood before her was a giant bee, with an intense aura. Kimel almost fainted, staggering backwards. “Where am i? Who are you?” she frantically asked. “You are in the beehive, dear child of mine. You can consider me your mother.” the queen boomed back.

  “WHAT?!” she could hardly believe it… she died and got reborn as a bee… of all things!!
