Things got serious, but that only made his opponent laugh.
“Hurhur! Who are you trying to scare with those scrawny arms? Even if you know kungfu, it ain’t shit! Come’on, Duri, let’s teach this brat a lesson so he learns his place!”
“Sure thing, Insu.” Mob Character C cracked his knuckles. “You get his face, I’ll get his back.”
Just when they were about to come to blows, a voice interrupted them.
“Hold it right there! What are you lot doing?”
Yu Zhiye glanced over to see the uncle with a scruffy beard coming over. Uncle “Jack” to the rescue?
But Mob Character B quickly went up to block him. “Old man, I suggest you mind your own business.”
“Yeah?” Jack rolled up his sleeves to show his partially-jacked muscles.
“Do you think I can just idly stand by and watch you rough men bully the young? Come! If you wanna fight, let’s make it two versus two!”
The loud gruff battle cry quickly attracted the attention of everybody else chilling in the store.
Not far away, the pot-bellied Kim Sungho signaled to the baldie Tae and they strolled over with Mob Character A as a background board.
“Ohoho, men, men, put down your fists. Give me some face. Let’s all stay civilized and talk this out!”
Mob Characters B and C both shot the sleazy middle-aged man a look of disdain, clearly not taking his face to heart.
“I suggest you get your ugly face away from our business or else!”
“Or else what?” Baldie Tae cracked his knuckles and grinned.
Mob Character B sneered. “Madaraka! Don’t think showing some muscle will make everybody afraid. This world... is no longer the same!”
After that declaration, the man growled and his muscles unnaturally bulged up. His height grew taller, his hair longer, and even his teeth grew sharper…
It only took a few seconds for the man to look down upon the tall Baldie Tae. “Hurhur, not so big now, are you?”
But Baldie Tae didn’t even flinch. “Che. Do you think you’re the only one with a bullshit superpower? Even without using mine, I can knock you down!”
“Ohoho, everybody calm down, calm down! No need to get so aggressive.” Kim Sungho held onto the baldie and tried to defuse the situation.

“The days are still long. We might become comrades in the near future. No need to ruin our harmony over a few words.”
“Mr. Kim is right. Instead of fighting each other, we should unite and help each other survive.”
Everybody looked over to see four-eyes Kwan walking out from an aisle side-by-side with the classy brunette in her hot red dress that outlined her proud figure.
Tailing them like dogs were his two lackeys.
By now, almost every member was basically all here.
Even the naive high schooler Xiao Shuling became an onlooker poking her head out from behind a counter.
This somehow turned into a full group meet-up.
Perhaps the only one missing was that dangerous young man tagged as Anomaly A.
Joining the standoff, the sexy brunette pleased all the men with a charming smile. “I believe I haven’t introduced myself to all you boys. Chae Yoona. A pleasure.”
“Ohoho, Miss Yoona! I’ve heard all about you from Brother Tae! But words alone can’t do your beauty justice!”
“You flatter me, Mr. Kim.”
“No, no, this bozo isn’t flattering you at all! He speaks the truth!” Baldie Tae thumped his chest. “I, Kim Taeyong, can say, you’re the most beautiful woman I’ve ever met!”
Four-eyes smiled and adjusted his glasses. “I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I must agree with this baldie.”
“Yeah, yeah! Miss Yoona is the most beautiful!”
“Absolutely top class!”
Almost all the men rushed to flatter the beauty. Even Mob Character B forgot all about the confrontation and joined in.
“Hurhur, a lady of your class shouldn’t mix with these fools. Follow me and I will protect you!”
“Hah! Who needs you when she can have me, Taylor the Rock!”
“Nonsense! How can a rough men like you be worthy of Miss Yoona?! Only a refined gentleman like CEO Kwan is worthy of her!”
“Bullshit!” “Madaraka!”
All those male peacocks flaunting themselves to claim her as their own only heightened Chae Yoona’s disdain and disgust for them, but she didn’t show it on her face.
Instead, she kept her charming mask on and redirected their conflict in her own way.
“Now, now, boys... Hear me out. We can discuss me another day. Don’t we have more important things to discuss?”
Chae Yoona’s gaze locked onto the young man who was about to sneak out from the circle. “Right, Mr. Steve?”
Everybody followed her gaze and the spotlight landed back on Yu Zhiye.
Damn. Can’t escape now. Not cool.
“Madaraka! That’s right, I almost forgot about you!” Mob Character B stomped up to Yu Zhiye and glared down at him. “So what is your answer? If I hear no again, hurhur…”
“Ohoho, Mister Park, there’s no need to be so aggressive. Haven’t you ever heard the saying: a forced melon is not sweet?”
Seeing Kim Sungho step in, Baldie Tae grinned and backed him up.
“Yeah, a brute like you that only knows how to force others… Miss Yoona will never be interested in you.”
Park Insu narrowed his eyes dangerously. “You two…”
Four-eyes Kwan wasn’t slow to join in with a smile. “This time, I must agree with Mister Kim. How about let me try persuading this… friend?”
Park Insu’s heart sunk. His muscles grew bigger but that didn’t mean he let it get to his brain.
The other teams outnumbered his little two-man team four to one. Even his so-called teammate went quiet like he didn’t exist.
There’s no way to win this.
So, he suppressed his anger and released his transformation, shrinking back to normal size.
“Madaraka! Fine. Do it your way. I only need him to show up to fish us out if we get stuck. The rest? I don’t care. Come’on, Duri. Let’s go.”
Leaving those words behind, Park Insu stormed out with his silent partner following after him.
The third party left, and the other two teams set their sights back on the center of attention.
Kwan Minhwoo gave his glasses a nudge and smiled kindly. “So? My friend, Steve, this is your chance to shine. What say you?”
