  I put this in the author's note for the last chapter, but I know that many people don't read those. If you didn't read that note, see the message below:

  I'm sorry for this, but A Pioneer's Blood is going to be taking a short break. My next proper chapter update will be on March 8th, so that's around 2 weeks from a timing perspective, but it's just three uploads in total that I will be 'missing'.

  I'm taking a break because, on the one hand, I'm dealing with some minor burnout. It's been around a year, and you'd be surprised at how much effort even writing only a few chapters a week can be. On the other hand, Book 3 is now finished on I need to start outlining and planning for Book 4, and I think Book 4 is going to take a bit more in terms of delicate planning than the past three books. Keeping up my normal upload schedule while also doing that planning would be...tricky. So I'm taking a 'break' to do my planning.
