  Bryan’s Notes (scrawled at various angles):

  • “Receptionist might be a demon. Don’t ask her to smile.”

  •
  • “I picked the name Ashen Blade Master for the registry. They didn’t even blink. Think they’ve seen worse. Or stopped caring”

  •
  • “The adventurers can be oddly competitive, they may jump you in an alley”

  •
  • “Do not eat the stew unless you have a death wish or no taste buds.”

  Guild Notes:

  Goblin extermination quests are a rite of passage. They are the most encountered creature among new adventurers. Despite their size, they display cunning in numbers and use terrain to their advantage. Be wary of hidden traps in goblin camps. – {killing a lot of them doesn’t make you cool… just saying}

  Kill bounty (guild standard): 3 copper per left ear. Bonus for nest clears.

  Bryan’s Notes (in margin, half-smudged with blood):

  “Was nearly murdered by one of these rock throwing midgets.

  First fight. First Embarrassment. 0/10.

  Would not recommend as an introduction to adventuring.”
