  “HOW COULD THOSE IDIOTS FAIL!?!?” A man with teal eyes and hair screams and throws a chair. “Calm yourself Archer” says a man who is seated behind a desk. “They obviously weren’t trained well enough by Viper! You should fire her!” Archer yelled as he fixed the chair he threw. “Viper did the best she could in her short time with them” the man behind the desk says stroking his Persian. “You’re much kinder than we are boss” says a man with purple hair. “No Petrel, I am just more patient than you are. Viper and the academy will produce strong and capable recruits, but she needs time” the man behind the desk says. “Do we have any information on who saved Professor Oak and the Pokémon?” asked man with green hair. “No, we don’t have any information Proton. You will be in charge of finding out who intervened with our plans. Make them pay for what they have done” a sinister smile forming on the lips of the man seated behind the desk. “I’ll get Ariana to try and wipe those grunts that got hauled off. They should be on their way to Saffron City right now, but we’ll schedule an unexpected interruption on their way there” Archer said with a cruel chuckle. “Sounds like everyone knows what to do. Petrel, are there any updates on the project I assigned you?” the man behind the desk asked. “Yes boss, Celadon is fully operational. You can visit whenever you are ready!” Petrel said looking proud. “Good, very good. We’ll fill the other teams and leaders in once I have given the final approval” the man behind the desk said still petting his Persian. “You are all dismissed” the man behind the desk said as he turned his chair to face away from them. “Don’t worry Persian, we will find out who ruined our plans and stomp them out properly” the man behind the desk said.

  Saffron City - Officer Jenny Acadamy

  “SHE SAID WHAT” an older looking Officer Jenny said slamming a piece of paper on her desk. “She said she was giving us notice that she will be vacating her position come Fall” said the much younger looking Officer Jenny. “THAT DAUGHTER OF MINE BETTER HAVE A GOOD EXPLANATION!” the older Officer Jenny yelled. “She said she wanted to become a Pokémon Trainer and would be doing the gym circuit come Fall” the younger Jenny said cowering behind her clipboard. “SHE WILL DO NO SUCH THING!!! I will go straighten her out right away!” the older Jenny said grabbing her equipment and pushing the younger Jenny out of her office. “No one has a sense of duty anymore. What happened to being dedicated to the force like my generation was?” the older Jenny said as fumbled with her keys trying to lock her office. “Ma’am, your daughter said that if you come to try and stop her, that she would quit on the spot” the younger Jenny said as she braced for more yelling. “Oh ho, well we’ll see about that!!!” the older Jenny said stomping off towards the transports.

  Viridian City - Officer Jenny Station

  Dear Austin,

  Thank you for telling me everything yesterday. I know it probably wasn’t easy to be open and honest especially with someone you like a lot. Really, you have been so kind to me, and you even told me from our first date that it would dramatically impact our relationship.

  I wanted to let you know that I am ready to commit to going on the trip with you. Being a Pokémon Trainer has always seemed like a dream, but now that you are helping support that dream I think I am ready to try and make it reality. This morning, I already notified my superiors that I will be resigning as Officer Jenny of Viridian City come Fall when we plan to begin our journey.

  Please come by tomorrow for a visit or maybe a date. I want to start talking about planning out a team, where we need to go, and getting to know more about your old life.

  “Here Cha, take this letter to Austin please” Jenny said handing the envelope to Cha. “Pidg” Cha said taking off for Palet Town. “Officer Jenny!” Michael called out walking over to her. “Hello Michael, how are you?” asked Jenny. “Doing all right, can’t complain. Just wanted to let you know that I some some shady folks all leaving the Gym just now in big black cars with dark windows” Michael said with a hushed volume. “Thank you for letting me know Michael, I’ll keep my eye out for anything suspicious” Jenny said turning to look towards the gym. “Thanks for protecting the town Officer Jenny! Have a good night!” Michael said as he waved good bye. “Have a good night!” Jenny said waving back. Jenny entered the station and sat down at her desk, “Austin let me know who was really in charge of the gym already. I have to be careful or I could get in a fight with the wrong person and end up seriously hurt” Jenny said thinking out loud. “I wish there was some way to let the other Officer Jenny’s know and help them prepare for what is coming” Jenny said tapping a pencil on her lip. “Who would even believe me though?” Jenny asked nobody. “I wish more people were like Austin” Jenny said quietly heading back inside.

  Safari Zone in Fuschia City

  ”That Pinsir is becoming a real problem” the Game Warden of the Safari Zone said. “She has taken over multiple groups of Pinsirs now and formed some sort of colony. She won’t let anyone catch a Pinsir now. I need you to take care of this” the Game Warden said pointing on a map. “Professor Oak will want to know why I caught her. Is there anything unique about her?” asked the man wearing glasses. The Game Warden stood up revealing his short stature and large round belly. “Son, I don’t care what excuse you use, just make something up” the Game Warden said. “She is costing us money and giving us bad reviews with serious Pokémon trainers. All that work we did getting Lance to come here and catch those Dratini will be wasted!” the Game Warden exclaimed. “Now are you going to catch her or not?” the Game Warden said leaning on his desk with both hands. “Fine, but you know my fee. I expect good pay for having to lie to Professor Oak for you again” the man with glasses said as he stood up.
