?Felicia's gaze stayed on the words shown by the light. Then she dismissed the whole panel with zero interest.
?Her hand moves, picking up a piece of apple from the basket and putting it in her mouth. Until this point, after all the changes started to happen, she was battling constantly to survive, and this little time of rest is valuable to her.
?"It's shocking how these words showing up in the light know about my past; it's also weird. However, nothing about me having a grudge against the likes of Joshua is a thing they should meddle in. It's my own revenge; I do it because I want to, not because I want someone else's words.
?How dare it even think of ordering me around, and most of all to kill. I do not want to kill; what I want is to surpass him so he will live to be under my shadow for the rest of his life."
?She murmured; the seat she was leaning on had a soft cushion, and Felicia's grown figure was all over it.
?Hearing her mistress talk, Thresha got closer.
?"My lady, is something the matter?"
?"Nothing that we should worry about," responded Felicia.
?"But I'm worrying, my lady," said Thresha in a timid tone.
?"About something you don't know?"
?"Yes, I don't know about the future and I'm worrying for it. What will happen to us when we reach the destination?" At her words, Felicia gazes at her; her gaze is calm, yet Thresha could see a burning fire hidden beneath it.
"I made it clear to you before, Thresha, the destination is the Ottoman Empire, a place with vast power and authority over the whole of Anatolia. There I will start my conquest, and rise up to a place that the likes of Joshua Von and Helion Shin could only dream of reaching."
?The name Helion Shin sparked a wave of memory in Thresha. As it was a name that spread like a wildfire in a period of time through her young lady's father's barony. He was the adopted son of the friendly baron to her young lady's father.
If you spot this tale on Amazon, know that it has been stolen. Report the violation.
?Even from a young age, it was well known in the barony that Helion has a hatred for his adoptive father. As he was adopted from his own parents by murdering them. But his adoptive father, the baron, let him be as he viewed it as a matter of encouragement to the kid. Helion dreamed of surpassing the baron, who was an old military veteran, and with that dream he honed his skills, turning into a fearsome youth that surpassed nearly all the other renowned kids at his age.
?But the hatred grew alongside his skills, and all came to a breaking point when the Baron Lord's beloved gave birth to two new kids of his own. Filled with fatherly love, the baron named his two newborn sons the future lords of the barony, and Helion was enraged. He had a reason for holding his hatred back, and that was to inherit the land of the baron one day while surpassing him; and now since he lost it, he no longer held himself back. The fire erupted when Helion killed both of the two newborn sons of the Baron Lord, and he fled from the baron's land afterward; but on his way, he had encountered the captain of the guard force of the baron's land, whom Helion was shown to have sliced the head off in a quite easy duel.
?The tale of Helion was spread like a wildfire, and the enraged Baron Lord, realizing his mistake of feeding and growing a poisonous snake, hunted Helion like a beast. But he was never found by him.
Right now Helion is no longer around, but the mark he left by being the strongest and most skillful kid at his age was something that would not be forgotten, and it was one of the things her young lady's father used to pressure her with. Thus, one of the targets her young lady dreams to surpass alongside others is Helion Shin, the Loose Snake from the East.
?Thresha didn't know what to say about the dream of her young lady; she only hope for the best of her and serves her to the best of her ability, while holding thoughts that might anger her young lady if spoken out loud.

?The night corridor was silent, and in the inn, through the second floor where Sedric, Joshua, Felicia, and Astegon had their own rooms located, Melavan is walking silently. Until he arrived before the closed door of Sedric's room.
?He knocks, and it is answered by a soldier he was unfamiliar with. The door was slightly opened, and he could see a few figures inside. Among them, Sedric tilted his head as a signal, and Melavan stepped in.
?"So what's our next step going to be, Sir Death Galloper?" The group sat at a table, and it was divided into two sides: one was Sedric and the other was Astegon. It was Astegon who raised the question.
?"It always had been one from the beginning; isn't it clear?" answered Sedric, not having a doubt or delay in his response.
?"But Sedric, you should be aware as same as me: the world isn't the same as before. Some weird shit is going on out there that we cannot truly understand yet. One of my soldiers was ripped to pieces by an ant today, and a bird at the size of a horse hunted us for hours. Some of my soldiers now can burst fire from their hands and some can even turn water into ice; even I can now thrust my spear and blow apart a whole tree. But that isn't even close to the things those outside this shielding light covering us could do." Astegon's words caused Sedric to fall into silence for a moment before he spoke. His eyes did not waver with the clarity it has.
