Hello everyone!

  For those of you who don't know who I am and don't follow my social media, I am Xingfu De Daotian, an American danmei author, and otherwise known as the "gloomy puppy.'

  I have been writing since I was a child and only recently decided it was my dream to bring my stories to life.

  That being said.. I am a person outside of being an author.

  it'll be hard for me to post updates fast, and I am currently writing this novel with my boyfriend, otherwise known as Baby Bat Eatting Mochi in a Cave.

  With that out the way, I will need to be posting an authors note as well as trigger warnings.

  These may contain spoilers for the novel, so be full warned.

  lets get into it.

  Authors Note:

  Number one, and probably the most notable to viewers is that I am NOT a Chinese Danmei author, I am not perfect! A lot of what you see in my novels now are heavily inspired on other actual Chinese Danmei Authors, and more particularly this novel being inspired by Meatbun doesn't eat meat (肉包不吃肉) (Rou Bao Bu Chi Rou)'s own novel, Erha, or "The Husky and His White Cat Shizun,"

  No, I don't have any form of contact with this author, however, I do feel that it needs to be mentioned because this novel probably wouldn't be possible without them,

  With me not being Chinese, I don't have a lot to say about Chinese myths other than Mo Shuyi being the fae wolf, He Renxiao being the Tiangou Dog and Azure dragon, and Lan Qiang being the Huan Cat and a normal tuxedo cat.

  Think of this like these creatures being spiritual beasts who formed blood pacts with these characters and fused together, not me actually "shipping" all of this mythical Chinese beasts, that I know I will be amenability fought with about. I am not an expert about these mythical creatures, however I know enough to make a novel with characters basically inspired by them.

  The narrative has been taken without permission. Report any sightings.

  I mean nothing offensive, I promise.

  Number two, I am currently looking for artists to commission for cover art and illustrations within this novel, with payment depending on your price.

  Number three, this novel is not set in stone, meaning whatever is written here currently may be changed in the future. this is because this gloomy pup is VERY indecisive about his work. It probably will be under editing under the novel is finished, which.. won't be for a while, and you are all in for a TREAT..

  Now for what you all are probably reading this for.

  Trigger warning.

  To start, it is largely implemented that Renxiao and Lan Qiang were both physically an mentally abused by Mo Shuyi in their first life. I want to point out that, YES, this does include sexual abuse, but with purpose.. I do not condone this normally, and it is cleared by Renren Xiao (first life Renxiao) that he strongly disapproves of his counterparts relationship with this Mo Shuyi who had previously done so much to hurt them, both him and Lan Qiang.

  This will be released in a later chapter, however, I haven't exactly found a place for it yet, especially after I removed the idea of Isekai. or.. Not totally, for there will be a character in the future who is from the modern world, and his name is Lin Zhou. I don't think I removed this chapter from the other websites this novel has been published on, but.. Yeah.

  Another thing to point out is that this novel will it be for the fate of heart.

  This novel will in fact involve mature themes and EXTREME violence, obviously revolving around war, abusive, emotional trauma, abandonment, the idea of being a 'slave,' and familiar issues.

  Yes, sir, there will be blood. Yes, some of it MAY be drawn, no, I will not apologize for it minus this trigger warning, and there will be trigger warnings on the chapters.

  Finally, keep in mind that these characters are a three-way relationship. If you have a problem with that, this probably won't be a novel for you, but you should totally check out my other novels, for this one and Little Chained Runaway I believe are the only novels of mine that involve three-ways.. and probably are the most violent.

  with that, at the current time I am posting this (1/25/26) I will resume releasing new chapters after I finish editing out the system parts of this novel. Whenever that happens though, I will be sure to greet you all when I return!
